The one good thing about this tour was the skipper. The tour itself was also fabulous, although we opted to stay most of the time at Fteri beach. The negatives - the number for this site does work, so there is no way of speaking with someone for more information. They were responsive to email initially, however this was only so that it could be canceled in good time for them so that the date could be released for an opportunity for it to be booked. I had one question for them - what type of boat, and it seemed they refused to answer the question. The boat was kept extremely poorly. It was obviously not cleaned , not even a bit, or ever. Seats were old and tattered. The seats were so hot that you could not sit on them. The bathroom was horrific, although it did flush fine. For the price that this is asking, this was absolutely not worth it. For this asking price, normally it would be a high end yacht - and pristine. At least this is what we got on islands such as Santorini and Sardinia, which are known to be pricey, but you get your moneys worth. If I’d do it again. I would leave hire a small boat from a closer port and explore only fteri. And pay 1/4 of the price. It was clear then why they refused to answer the question on the boat. Seeing fteri beach and the coast is 100% worthy. But this was not a worthwhile way to see it.
Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely pleased to hear that you enjoyed the beauty of Fteri Beach and our skipper's service and professionalism. At the same time, we are truly sorry that the condition of the boat did not meet your expectations. The cleanliness and maintenance standards of our fleet are extremely important to us, and your comments regarding the seating and restroom facilities are being taken very seriously. We are already reviewing this feedback with our operations team to ensure improvements are made where necessary. Regarding your communication concerns, we also apologize if our responses left you feeling that your questions were not fully addressed. This was certainly not our intention. We always strive to provide clear information and assist our guests in making the right choice for their experience. Fteri Beach is indeed one of Kefalonia's hidden gems, and we regret that aspects of the boat itself affected your overall impression of the tour. Constructive feedback like yours helps us improve, and we appreciate you bringing these points to our attention. Thank you again for your honest review, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much-improved experience should you visit Kefalonia again. Kind regards, The Kefalonia Excursions Team
Picked up by coach instead of getting straight on the boat at the meeting point. 20 min coach trip to Poros. Boat seats were very uncomfortable not any padding or cushions to sit on "Music" played over the speakers was ok fo first 10 mins, then became a nightmare. Swim stops were great, last one was the best, loads of fish to see. Didn't appear to be any food or drink available to purchase on board, were given watermelon after each swim session. All in all would I recommend it,NO look around for a better deal
Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re sorry to hear that the tour did not fully meet your expectations. While we’re glad you enjoyed the swim stops—especially the final one with the abundance of marine life—we understand that several aspects of the experience fell short for you. We apologize for any confusion regarding the pickup arrangements. On some occasions, a short coach transfer is necessary due to docking logistics, and we do our best to keep this clear during booking. We also appreciate your comments about the seating and music on board. We understand that comfort is important during the cruise, and while the music is meant to add a relaxed atmosphere, we recognize that musical taste varies and not all selections may be suitable for everyone. We'll take your feedback into account as we review our onboard playlist and consider improvements. We regret that the availability of food and drink was not more clearly communicated. While we do offer watermelon after each swim stop, we understand that guests may expect more options and will look into how we can better inform and cater to those needs moving forward. Your feedback is very valuable and helps us improve the experience for future guests. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts, and we hope you'll consider exploring other experiences with us that may better suit your preferences.
It was the end of the season last trip and they’d removed the floating jetty at Skala where we were told to meet. Unfortunately there was no communication about this and that a coach would be taking us to Poros to get the boat. However it all worked out in the end. Could have done with 2 hrs rather than 1.5 hrs in Ithaca though.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear everything worked out in the end, but we’re sorry for the inconvenience caused by the last-minute change at Skala. Your comments about communication and timing in Ithaca are very valuable, and we’ll certainly take them into account to improve future trips. We truly appreciate you joining us and hope to welcome you back for an even smoother experience next time.
