Une visite aux chutes Victoria n'est pas complète sans une croisière au coucher du soleil envoûtante et l'explorateur du Zambèze, le croiseur phare de l'Afrique pure au coucher du soleil, apporte un niveau de sophistication bienvenu au fleuve. Une mise à niveau récente a vu des meubles nouvellement conçus, des chaises à motifs Ndebele tissées à la main et des luminaires améliorant l'ambiance ajouter aux éléments de design contemporain. Il y a trois ponts à bord, le « Signature Deck » au niveau supérieur est une pure extravagance avec des hors-d'œuvre gastronomiques, des cocktails et des boissons haut de gamme servis par un mixologue dédié. Les deux « Luxury Decks » inférieurs offrent des sièges lounge invitants et une gamme de boissons, ainsi que de délicieuses collations à savourer tout en se relaxant dans le cadre et le service

En naviguant sur le cours supérieur du Zambèze, vous verrez également la brume s'élever des magiques chutes Victoria. Le fleuve Zambèze est le quatrième plus long fleuve d'Afrique, le plus long fleuve d'Afrique coulant vers l'est et le plus grand se jetant dans l'océan Indien depuis l'Afrique. Le fleuve long de 2 574 kilomètres prend sa source en Zambie et traverse l'est de l'Angola, le long de la frontière nord-est de la Namibie et de la frontière nord du Botswana, puis le long de la frontière entre la Zambie et le Zimbabwe jusqu'au Mozambique, où il traverse le pays de se jeter dans l'océan Indien. La caractéristique la plus connue du Zambèze est les chutes Victoria.
Ce parc se compose de 40 km de façade sur le fleuve Zambèze et d'une faune sauvage, d'une riche forêt de mopane et d'une savane intérieures. Le parc national du Zambèze est conjoint au parc national des chutes Victoria et les deux parcs couvrent une superficie de 56 000 hectares. Une grande variété de grands mammifères peut être trouvée dans le parc. Si vous avez de la chance, vous pourriez rencontrer des animaux tels que des hippopotames, des éléphants, des crocodiles, des koudous lors de votre croisière sur le fleuve Zambèze.

Our family went on the SUNRISE cruise and it was stunning!! It was so peaceful- we were the only family on the boat and the only boat on the river. We saw so many birds and hippos. Very memorable experience!

The meal was very good, drinks were unlimited, there was everything we wanted. Once you have removed that. We saw hippos. We saw crocodiles, we saw nature, a great sunset. We took the time to sail and spend a moment out of time. What a pleasant moment I really want to thank the boat staff who were infinitely kind and perfectly professional.

The tour was relaxing, hassle free pickup, good snacks and drinks and nice views. We spotted some hippos, watched sunset. Only difficulty was the chairs, which were quite uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful time cruising on the Zambezi with Pure Africa! We chose the luxury experience which included drinks and canapes. While we didn't book a dinner cruise, the delicious food we were served filled us up so that we ultimately skipped dinner that night. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were also included in the price. There is some narration during the cruise to provide a safety orientation and help passengers understand some of the local geography. However, guests are mostly left alone to relax and just enjoy the water, the scenery, hunting for animals, and the sunset. It was very relaxing! We saw hippos, crocodiles, birds, and even elephants. We were picked up from our hotel just before 4pm, and returned by about 6:30 by a very helpful driver. This was a perfect ending to a day that included a walking tour of Victoria Falls National Park on the Zimbabwe side. Highly recommend!

This was a fantastic experience! The boat was very nice with comfy couches and chairs and great views from the top deck. On this sunset cruise alone we saw 2 sets of Wart Hogs, bloats of hippos, birds, and elephants on the way back to our hotel. Food was good and service was fantastic.

We had a really great experience overall and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The staff were absolutely excellent. Friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. The boat itself was beautiful and clearly very well maintained, which made the whole experience feel special and memorable. The only downside was the food. Unfortunately, it was quite average, very plain and not quite up to the same standard as the rest of the experience. Portions were also on the smaller side, and it definitely felt like this is an area that needs improvement. Especially for the price! That said, we still had a wonderful time and would recommend it, especially for the service and the stunning boat. With some upgrades to the catering, it would be a five-star experience!
