Montez à bord du River Explorer et dirigez-vous vers le nord-ouest en remontant la rivière Savannah sous le pont commémoratif de Talmadge à l'approche du port de Savannah. Ce port est le terminal à conteneurs le plus grand et à la croissance la plus rapide de toute l'Amérique ! Avec plus de 37 escales hebdomadaires, vous aurez probablement un gigantesque porte-conteneurs naviguant juste à côté de vous alors que nous remontons la rivière. Lors de cette excursion en bateau à Savannah, vous découvrirez l'histoire du port de Savannah et ce qu'il a fait pour l'État de Géorgie et toute l'Amérique. Aucune visite du port ne se ressemble puisque le port change tous les jours avec toutes ses pièces mobiles. Ce voyage est amusant pour tous les âges.

Very interesting information, that would be difficult to find out in any other manner. Your guides were very knowledgeable and made the experience fun.
Very informative tour of Savannah River Port. The two women piloting the boat were terrific. They enthusiastically narrated all that we were seeing. Quite impressive to be so close to the big cargo ships and watching the loading and unloading of containers. They explained why the yachts were docked and the process of completing maintenance. This is a tour I would highly recommend.

Absolutely fascinating!!! Savannah angling to be the Largest Port in the nation by raising a bridge? Take a guess by how many feet and find out how close you come on your Port Tour! And there is so Much More to Learn and See!!!
This was a very informative tour of the port. We saw huge container ships in operation of loading and unloading cargo. Our tour operators, Conner and Tanner were very knowledgeable, interesting, and personable. It was one of our favorite experiences in Savannah.

This was a great tour on the water to see the container ships. We got to see the loading and unloading process (from truck to the ships). Great narration to tell us about the process and workers. We got right up under a ship too - cool!

Having driven by the port a number of times in the past, my husband and I were very interested in the actual operation. The tour was very informative and interesting. We were taken up close to the massive ships in order to observe the loading/unloading process. We also saw how the river needs to be continually dredged to allow the depth necessary for the large ocean going vessels. The Captain and mate were very knowledgeable and informative. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone.
