This was without a doubt the best experience of our entire holiday in Costa Rica! This tour was truly breathtaking and absolutely a highlight of our trip. We had a private tour, giving us plenty of time to enjoy nature and ask questions. Our guide was fantastic: he gave a lot of interesting explanations and even managed to lure the crocodiles out of the water, so that we could admire them up close. That made the experience extra special. The people were incredibly friendly and the whole tour was perfectly organized. An unforgettable experience that we can recommend to everyone. If you're in the area, don't miss this tour!
The guides were super fun and hilarious. Jesus and the captain, who also fed the crocodiles were such a pleasure to be with. We saw many of the crocodiles such as Osama Van Latin, Angelina Jolie, and tornado. Massive crocodiles. It was so amazing. There are other companies in the area that are bigger, but Jose’s crocodile tour I believe was the best choice. Please visit them and do a tour with them if you’re in the area.!!! I can’t wait to bring my kids back!

Wonderful experience! Came to Costa Rica with friends and this was on our itinerary. Honestly I didn’t know exactly what to expect and this was absolutly one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in my life. Legit up close with crocs, so much wildlife to see, Iguananas, basalisks, all sorts of beautiful bird species, macaws, falcons and many more. The guides knew where the big crocs usually hang out and knew how to bribe them in for us to get good views. It was amazing!

My family and I absolutely loved the crocodile river tour with this company. It was excellent and exceeded my expectations. We went on this tour while on vacation in Costa Rica with my family (husband, wife, 9 year old and 12 year old.) On the boat for our tour it was just us and one other couple. Then we had our tour guide and Captain who were both excellent. The boat was covered which provided excellent shelter from the hot sun. I also liked the boat we were on compared to some of the other boats that we saw. It was longer with two rows of two seats along the boat (probably could hold up to 30 people) and it was lower down, so it was easy to see (and touch) the crocodiles! The tour was fantastic. We saw lots of wildlife, flora and fauna. We also saw lots of crocodiles! I didn't realize how up close we would get to them, it was really cool! At one point we were even able to touch the tail of a crocodile. The tour guide and Captain were excellent. They were knowledgeable and kind. They answered all our questions and were funny and entertaining. They also really went above and beyond "calling" and attracting the various wildlife, including the Crocodiles. This tour was a highlight of our entire trip to Costa Rica and I would highly recommend booking with Jose's Crocodile River Tour!
This was a great experience. I loved it. The tour guides was the best. They did everything needed to make this experience an incredible one.
Really a great tour. Guides were knowledgeable, funny and engaging. We saw lots of crocodiles and other animals. The guides got off the boat and hand feed the crocs which was pretty exciting. We were able to get surprisingly close the crocs as well. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed this. Our guide’s name was Jesus and the captain/driver of the boat I think was Guido? They were excellent. Jesus was very knowledgeable about all the wildlife we saw- birds, lizards, crocodiles. He told jokes and was funny too/entertaining. The large crocodiles have territories that the guides know where to find them. The feed them in front of you and get them close to the boat for pictures and viewing.
