Une tournée gastronomique avec une touche criminelle! Le quartier de Federal Hill à Providence est l'une de ses destinations les plus chaudes, où l'on trouve certains des meilleurs plats Italiens au monde. Cette visite vous donnera un smorgasbord de ses meilleures bouchées et boissons, des vins fins aux recettes familiales transmises de génération en génération. Venez affamés ! Chaque client recevra également un souvenir de son séjour sur la colline à emporter avec lui. Spoiler alert : c'est délicieux ! La Colline abritait aussi des personnages historiques qui s'adonnaient au mauvais côté de la loi. Suivez l'intrigue de State v. Patriarca, quand un futur maire s'est attaqué à un chef de la mafia; apprenez-en plus sur la corruption qui a mis le système bancaire du Rhode Island à genoux dans les années 90, et sur une descente dans un jeu de dés illégal qui a envoyé un policier de la Providence par une fenêtre du deuxième étage. Les clients de moins de 21 ans ne seront pas servis d'alcool sur cette visite. Un minimum de quatre invités est nécessaire pour que toutes les visites se déroulent. Si moins de quatre sont réservés, nous vous contacterons le matin.

Excellent tour! Katy K was knowledgeable, funny, and an excellent cat wrangler (we were a big group) . Delicious food and a fascinating peek into some of the criminal underpinnings of Providence.
Ginger was delightful and told us many stories about the area and the famous crime families. We enjoyed the food at a number of great Italian restaurants and cafes, and shopped afterwards. Such a fun experience!

We had a lot of fun on this tour led by Katy K. Although it was a pretty big group of 21, she herded us around the Federal Hill neighborhood and kept us very interested with the true tales of Mafia dealings, mob hits, getaways, pinches, and the life and times of Providence mayor Buddy Cianci. The food and wine were delicious and there were opportunities to do a little shopping as well to support local businesses. Highly recommend!

Group of six visiting the area and thought this food tour would be a fun experience. It was the guide's first tour and would have been helpful if she had an experienced guide there to support for the first time. The first restaurant stop was great. One of the restaurants listed opted out and there was no replacement. One stop served pizza and it was not good. A few issues out of the control of the guide was it was a very hot/humid day and there was a festival going on which did not help the experience. I would give it a try but check out these issues prior to your booking.

My husband, friends and I loved the Crime & Cuisine tour on Saturday May 30, 2026 hosted by Sheli. We enjoyed Sheli's pace, her ability to connect with everyone on the tour, her engaging storytelling style and her love for sharing Federal Hill's culture and history. What an interesting and informative tour! Our guide, Mark, was so knowledgeable and engaging, pointing out landmarks as we walked down Atwells Avenue, while telling tales of corruption and crime that is so much of a part of the history of Providence. We sampled dishes at several Italian restaurants throughout the tour, ending with biscotti at the Visitor's Center. Bring your spirit of adventure and your appetite! You'll learn a lot, whether you're visiting Providence for the first time, or (like us) are Providence residents who've lived here for ages.
