Faites un bref arrêt dans cette ville historique célèbre pour ses superbes peintures murales. Avec plus de 140 peintures murales peintes qui dépeignent l'histoire et le caractère pionniers de la région de Cradle Mountain, c'est une ville fascinante.
Après environ 2 heures de voyage en autocar depuis Launceston à travers le paysage luxuriant et les terres agricoles vallonnées de Sheffield et de la côte nord-ouest, nous arrivons au centre d'accueil de Cradle Mountain. Situé à la limite du parc, profitez des écrans d'interprétation, des informations sur le parc, des informations météorologiques à jour et apprenez tout ce qu'il y a à savoir sur cette magnifique région alpine. Le Centre dispose également de toilettes, d'une boutique de cadeaux, d'un café et de plats à emporter et est connu pour son personnel amical et compétent. De beaux jardins indigènes entourent le Centre. Profitez d'une courte promenade de 5 minutes vers les cascades en cascade, connues sous le nom de Enchanted Forest Walk.
Admirez la puissante et majestueuse Cradle Mountain qui règne sur le pittoresque Dove Lake. Profitez d'une promenade d'une heure à Dove Lake avec un guide professionnel qui vous conduira jusqu'à Glacier Rock et visitera l'une des plages de quartzite de Dove Lake.
Prenez le temps d'explorer la célèbre Tasmanian Ashgrove Cheese Farm et découvrez comment le fromage est fabriqué et goûtez aux variétés fabriquées sur place.
Profitez de la beauté de l'un des monuments les plus reconnaissables d'Australie et de l'une des attractions les plus visitées de Tasmanie. Le joyau de la couronne de la zone du patrimoine mondial de la nature sauvage de Tasmanie. Une cabane de jour est l'endroit où vous pourrez déguster un déjeuner léger, fourni par une boulangerie locale, avant de visiter la maison d'hôtes historique de Waldheim et de profiter de la marche facile de 20 minutes dans la forêt de Weindorfers.

Wonderful tour! Cradle Mountain is beautiful. We didn’t have the best weather but still enjoyed. Loved the 2 tour guides and all of the information and history they told us. Was really nice to be given hot drinks after Dove Lake and sit in the visitor centre to eat our lunch and look at the view. The lunch provided was very nice. Had a wonderful day.

Great trip, guide was very knowledgeable and the bus driver absolutely nailed the windy roads! We missed out on seeing the murals as we ran out of time, due to passengers coming back late at designated times. Otherwise, there was plenty to see and do at all the stops and it's a beautiful part of the state! 😀

Our Cradle Mountain tour was a fantastic experience. Ben was an excellent guide — knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about what he does.
