★★★★★ **A fantastic way to experience Rome**
I absolutely loved my sunrise running tour with **Rome by Run** — it turned out to be one of the highlights of my time in Rome.
We started at dawn, when the streets were almost deserted and the sky was just beginning to change colour. Over about 5 km we took in the Roman aqueducts, Aurelian Walls, Basilica of San Giovanni, the Colosseum and so much more. Seeing Rome this way, before the city really woke up, was quite magical.
What made the experience exceptional, though, was our guide **Simone**. Born and raised in Rome and still living locally, he didn't just tell us about the city's history — he shared his own Rome with us. We passed places connected to his life and family: where he was married, where his children were born and where his grandparents live. In a wonderfully spontaneous moment, we even bumped into his brother on his way to the hospital!
Simone was incredibly warm, knowledgeable and engaging, and it felt less like a formal tour and more like going for a run with a local friend who genuinely loves his city.
I'm travelling solo and this was such a personal, memorable way to experience Rome. I enjoyed it far more than I expected and would absolutely recommend **Rome by Run** to anyone who wants to see a different and very special side of the city.
**Thank you, Simone — an incredible experience and the perfect way to start my day in Rome.** 🏃♀️🇮🇹❤️

Rome by Run with Simone
I cannot stop smiling , that was hands down the best “ tour “ experience I have ever had . Simoné not only showed me the “big tourist “ attractions but also all the little secret ones . What a way to see Rome with a wonderful real Roman running partner - if I had the energy I’d have done that again today .
If you have a runner in your group I’d truly recommend they do this tour the first day as it really helped us to “ plan “ our next few days in Rome . I can’t express how truly brilliant this experience was . Thank you Simoné and Rome by Run - Nikki G
PS totally worth the early wake up call

Best way to see Rome is on your feet!
I had a great journey with Claudia through ancient Rome and the surrounding areas. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Rome and took me to several awesome spots!
Great English and lots of great discussions! I highly recommend this team and getting a run-in while you're in Rome. There's no better way to see a city!

Unforgettable experience!
Just book it! What a fabulous experience! Claudia was a delightful running guide as she took me through Rome's top sites before the crowds woke up. I booked the 10k option so I could see more sites. At each stop, she provided interesting insights into each location. The photos were a wonderful bonus!

Early morning 5K
Claudia was an amazing guide. Shared tons of information at the sites and made the whole run feel personalized for us. She accommodated changing our meet site at the last minute. Highly recommend this early morning run as an easy way to see the city before it gets too busy. Thank you Claudia!

Beautiful jogging through Rome!
Great jogging experience through Rome with Fabrizio! 🏃♂️
A magnificent route that allows you to discover the city differently, between emblematic sites and more secret corners.
Fabrizio is a top guide: very friendly, attentive and passionate about his city. The atmosphere was relaxed and really nice from start to finish.
I highly recommend to all those who want to combine sport and discovery in an exceptional setting

Energising way to see Rome
I power walked with Fabrezzio on a lovely fall morning and saw so many of the main attractions. In 90 minutes, we covered 7km. Great alternative to running and more energising than a typical walking tour. I would do it again.

Incredible Early Morning 10K Run Through Rome
I booked a solo Rome by Run tour with Claudio, and it was truly one of the most memorable experiences of my trip. We set off at dawn, and running through Rome while the streets were still quiet felt magical. Over the 10km route, we passed the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Roman Forum, Colosseum, and even the Vatican, all bathed in the soft early light.
Claudio was an exceptional guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and perfectly attuned to my pace. He shared fascinating bits of history and local insight at each stop and took some incredible photos along the way. His passion for the city really came through and made the run feel personal and immersive.
If you enjoy running and want to experience Rome in a completely different way—peaceful, beautiful, and full of history—this tour is absolutely worth it. I’d do it again without hesitation.

Highlight of my trip
This was a highlight of my trip! Claudia was an amazing guide. I had scheduled by run for 6:30am and got to see so many monuments free of the busy crowds, and I learned so much more about them than I would have on my own. I signed up since I have a half-marathon coming up, but honestly this is a super fun time for any runner!! Thank you Claudia!! :)
