This was the highlight of our trip. Chef Julio was amazing and the class was so much fun. We learned a lot. With 2 kids having celiac - this was the perfect outing . Our family will remember this night for a long time.

Such a FUN experience!!! Both Chef’s were friendly, humorous, knowledgeable, and great instructors. The atmosphere was beautifully charming, welcoming, with an impressive kitchen! We had the best time and met the loveliest people!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking this class!

Yes… we really do cook EVERYTHING from scratch here — no pre-made doughs, no ready-made sauces, no shortcuts hiding in the kitchen! Just fresh ingredients, flour everywhere, happy hands, and a little bit of Italian kitchen chaos in the best possible way. From kneading the pasta dough to preparing the sauces together, we want our guests to experience what real Italian home cooking actually feels like (which is also why comfy shoes become part of the experience ). Chef Vary made our experience very enjoyable. We made gluten free, dairy free foccacia, ravioli, gnocchi, and tagliatelle all in less than 2.5 hours. It was fun and very informative.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about our time with Chef Vary. Not only did we consider this one of the best things we did on our trip to Italy, the finished meal was also among the best we had. Chef Vary is unmatched in her culinary expertise as well as her warm and inviting demeanor. Anyone who is fortunate enough to take a class with Chef Vary will leave utterly delighted, incredibly full, and with a memory to last a lifetime.
Yes its a little pricey but sooooo worth it!!!! My teen has celiac and it was awesome to be able to show her how easy it is (with the right ingredients) to make fresh gluten free pasta and simple delicious sauces. We made ravioli, potato gnocchi and spaghetti with another family with a young adult with celiac so it was nice to also share info about GF restaurants we've both been to in Italy to add to our plans. Irene is a doll and partnered with our daughter to make the pasta. Her tips and humor made the class perfection! Afterwards Chef Vary shares all of the recipes and more so you can try it at home!
Our Gluten Free pasta class with Chef Vary was phenomenal!!! Our son is GF so we wanted him to be able to experience all of the delicious pasta here! The entire group loved every bite! If you have a GF person in your group I definitely recommend reaching out to Chef Vary!!! It was delicious, fun and we even left with the recipes!!!
