Our host was great! Made us feel at home and gave us tons of information on making authentic pasta & desert! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to make authentic Italian food!
STEER CLEAR!!!! They canceled this class barely 24 hours before and did not notify us. They said they emailed but we didn’t receive it but they had my phone number yet did not call. The numbers we had in case of issues did not work except for 1 and that one was not answered. Found out was because she didn’t recognize the number. So 40 euros of cab rides to be turned away and they won’t refund $320!!! I would avoid using Viator for any tours that involve Italy they are not reliable.

We had such a great time with Cristina at her beautiful home and garden just outside Rome. Cristina is a lovely host and she creates a relaxed, fun environment. She showed us how to make gnocchi from scratch with a delicious amacitriana sauce with tomato and guanciale. It was simple and absolutely delicious. We also learned how to make a local artichoke recipe, which was the best artichoke I've ever eaten. For dessert we made tiramisù, which was easy and elegant. We had our meal in her tranquil garden surrounded by lemon and olive trees. Such a treat! We enjoyed the whole experience, had a delicious lunch and will definitely try these recipes at home! We highly recommend this experience with friends or family!
My wife and I do our best to make the traditional Roman pastas but something was always missing. Cristina showed us the best way to make these pastas! The Carbonara we had was the best I’ve ever tasted! Cristina was an excellent host! We would highly recommend booking with her!!
We signed up for a small group class, but it ended up being a private lesson for two. Cesarine could not have selected a better match. Sveva is delightful and a wonderful teacher. My partner does not cook and yet she succeeded in getting him to make tiramisu and even ravioli. We made dinner and dessert, tasted wine and olive oil, and had lovely conversation. Going out to a Michelin star chef's restaurant the following evening wasn't nearly as good as our experience with Sveva. Our cooking class with Sveva was out first night in Rome and a tough act to follow. We highly recommend taking any class with Sveva as her passion for food is clearly evident. Thank you Sveva for providing us with such a memorable evening.
