Cette expérience se distingue par le fait qu’elle offre une occasion rare de s’engager dans la tradition de poterie ancienne de la Cappadoce dans son cadre original. Contrairement aux ateliers standards, vous travaillerez avec la célèbre argile rouge d’Avanos – le même matériau utilisé par les artisans depuis des milliers d’années – et apprendrez directement des maîtres potiers qui continuent à préserver ces techniques séculaires. Le processus est complètement pratique, ce qui vous permet non seulement d'observer mais aussi de vraiment ressentir le patrimoine de la région lorsque vous façonnez votre propre pièce. C’est une rencontre culturelle immersive où histoire, savoir-faire et créativité se côtoient, vous offrant un souvenir unique entièrement réalisé par vous.

We were picked up and taken to the pottery. We then each had a turn on the potters wheel. The potter really helped us get the technique to make our pots. Then Melissa gave us a history of the local pottery. Then we were taken to another room to paint a tile. Then we were shown all the different items you could buy. There were different rooms with a price for everyone. We then were taken to last room for a surprise but I won't spoil it. We had an amazing time and I recommend the trip.

We were picked up by Ibrahim and taken to the pottery. Me and my husband went one after the other to make our pots. We were expertly guided by the potter. We were so happy with our pots. We were then given a history of the local pottery by Melissa. She was very good. We then went through and painted a couple of tiles. They then showed us all the different rooms with amazing ceramics. The last room was fantastic but I won't spoil the surprise. We bought a couple of items and then Ibrahim took us back to our hotel. I would highly recommend this. It was such fun and very informative. Thank you to all xx

A wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The entire experience was very educational; we learned so much about the traditional methods passed down over centuries. Getting to make clay pots ourselves and do some artistic work made it a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend this workshop for anyone looking for an authentic and enlightening experience.
