Après un court transfert depuis le point de rendez-vous, nous nous dirigerons vers le Parterre de Cortona, un espace plat spacieux parfait pour commencer notre passionnante visite en vélo électrique, bénéficiant d'une belle vue sur la Valdichiana.
La Villa Bramasole, célèbre pour être la résidence de Francies Mayes et connue pour être la villa du film "Sous le soleil toscan", enchante par son architecture Renaissance et ses jardins à l'italienne. Lors de notre visite en vélo électrique, il offre une expérience culturelle et historique unique.
La basilique Santa Margherita de Cortona est dédiée à Santa Margherita da Cortona, la patronne de la ville. C'est un lieu de grande spiritualité et histoire, où les visiteurs peuvent admirer les restes de la sainte et découvrir sa vie et sa contribution à la communauté.
La Forteresse du Girifalco domine le panorama de Cortona et est une impressionnante forteresse médiévale qui offre une vue imprenable sur la ville et la campagne environnante. C'est un endroit parfait pour explorer l'histoire militaire de Cortona et profiter de vues spectaculaires.
L'Ermitage de Le Celle est un lieu spirituel situé près de Cortone, connu pour être habité par saint François d'Assise. Il offre une atmosphère de tranquillité et de réflexion, immergée dans la nature préservée de la Toscane.
La dernière étape de notre visite sera un retour à Cortona pour explorer quelques joyaux cachés de la ville étrusque, en nous plongeant dans son histoire ancienne et son atmosphère unique.

Roberto and Sara are highly professional, and deliver a very custom tour. Despite Roberto’s strong effort to help my wife understand how to balance and pedal a bicycle, when my wife failed to be able to do so, they recovered quickly and helped us with a revised agenda. They drove us around to a number of exciting locations and provided the deep history of the objects and sites we visited. In addition, we stopped at a local winery for wine tasting and a lite lunch. The overall experience was awesome! I highly recommend their services to all that ask.
Our family of five had the pleasure of experiencing a day with Roberto during our trip to Italy, and it was truly one of the highlights of our vacation! We accidentally missed our stop on the train, but Roberto graciously came to pick us up at the next station—he really went above and beyond for us, which set the tone for the rest of the day. Roberto was an excellent guide, always ensuring we were safe on the roads, even with my son urging him to go faster while I was at the back of the line, taking in all the sights at a more leisurely pace! He was insightful, knowledgeable, and funny, making the whole experience enjoyable for all of us, from the teens to the adults. The wine tasting was a lot of fun, and even though we had a bit of a wait at the end and missed our train back to Milan because Roberto’s van battery died, it was no problem—he was already going out of his way to make sure we had a great day. Highly recommend this experience! It was a fantastic way to explore the countryside and enjoy some local wine, and Roberto really made it unforgettable. One of our favorite things we did on our Italy trip!
The E-bike tour was amazing! Unfortunately ours was cut short due to rain but Roberto helped make it a wonderful day by adapting the plan and showing us parts of Cortona we never would have known about. He was such a gracious host! Highly recommend!!
Roberto was the most amazing guide! We did or have the best weather but he made our day so special. He was caring, friendly, informative and a wonderful human. His EBikes were great quality, clean and very easy to use. He was incredibly organized. I would recommend his company over and over again!!
The e-bike tour was relaxing and informative as we toured churches , museums, estates ,the beautiful city of Cortona and on to a small winery for a wine tasting and lunch . All in all a great time and one of the highlights of our trip through Tuscany. Thanks Roberto !
This was such a great way to see Cortona and Roberto was amazing! The bikes are in top condition, he spent time ensuring all felt safe on the bikes and he picked routes that were bike friendly. Roberto is not only fun to spend the day with, he is very knowledgeable about the history of Cortona and Tuscany. We were able to see a lot of Cortona and then ended our tour with a great lunch and wine at Cantina Doveri, drinking Fabrizio’s delicious L’usciolo Syrah. This is a must do when in Tuscany.
Our E-bike tour of Cortona was perfecto! This was my first time on an E-bike & I was a bit apprehensive, that is, until I met Roberto. Roberto spent time getting to know each of us before setting out. He fit us with the right size bike & helmet, and had us do an off-road practice ride to get comfortable, which I found extremely helpful. Roberto’s knowledge of Cortona and his ease when navigating the winding roads and traffic areas in the town was superb. This was so much more than a typical E-bike tour! We made many stops along the way at interesting sights, learned so much about Cortona & ended our day with a magnificent wine tasting! Our time with Roberto was so enjoyable, we booked a second tour with him on the spot & went 2 days later!
Great. Really great. Why? I always hated riding a bicycle. I found it boring and very tiring--but Roberto not only changed my mind. He took me to places that looked like paintings. Also: great professionalism, kindness and prepared in explanations. I don't think there is anything else to add!
We had an excellent e-bike tour with Roberto biking through and over the hills , almost mountains of Cortona, and learning wonderful cultural histories of sites here. We had never ridden e-bikes and are not particularly experienced bikers and Roberto gave us a great and simple tutorial and also helped us along the way so we felt comfortable. This is the best way we think to experience the beauty of countryside and richness of its history. Walking would be to slow and car touring too fast. Roberto also researched the histories and some personal stories to give us a full bodied experience of what it was like to inhabit these structures and time periods. The contrast between the warlike Fortrezza di Girifalco and the peaceful Eremo Le Celle was especially compelling and moving. Roberto was so friendly and our enjoyment of the whole day was very important to him. It is clear he really enjoys giving tours and biking . Thank you, Roberto , for one of the best experiences in Tuscany ever !
