Highly recommend the experience.. Everyone had a great time.. Elena made the small group feel like family. We helped prepare and taste some Greek cuisine and wine. The atmosphere was perfect.
My wife and I had an unforgettable experience at Mykonian Spiti. From the moment we arrived at Teta’s beautiful home, we felt welcomed like family. Our cooking instructor, Eleni, was exceptional. She taught with such passion, patience, and genuine love for Greek culture and cuisine. We prepared spinach pie, stuffed tomatoes, and authentic tzatziki using the freshest ingredients. The aroma of the herbs, vegetables, and olive oil filling the kitchen made the entire experience even more special. Every detail was thoughtfully explained, and we left with a much deeper appreciation for traditional Mykonian cooking. What made this experience truly extraordinary, however, was not only the food. There were nine of us gathered around the table from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds. We began as strangers, but somewhere between preparing the meal, sharing stories, laughing together, and enjoying what we had created, something beautiful happened. We left feeling like family. It was a reminder that food has an incredible way of bringing people together. Around one table, barriers disappeared, hearts opened, and genuine connections were formed. That sense of community is something my wife and I will never forget. Thank you, Teta, for opening your home, and thank you, Eleni, for sharing your knowledge, kindness, and heart with all of us. If you’re looking for more than a cooking class, if you’re looking for an authentic experience that nourishes both your body and your soul, Mykonian Spiti is a place you simply cannot miss. We would gladly do it again. ★★★★★
Fabulous food, beautiful space, amazing instructor
Everyone who pays to do cooking class should have the opportunity to cook! All participating at all points. Not some sitting and watching for an hour! I appreciate owner coming n out to speak with us and spend some time getting to know us. This was the only reason I gave 3 star.
This is an awesome experience that you must try if you like cooking and want to learn local Greek recipes. The hostess was amazing!! Everyone helping including the owner was very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and learned from it. Highly recommended!
I would HIGHLY recommend this cooking class. We were welcomed warmly into her home. Half way through a two week trip it was nice to have a beautiful home cooked meal and feel at home. We got many cooking tips and look forward to cooking the dishes we learned when we get home!
We had such a wonderful time at this cooking class! The instruction was entertaining, the food was delicious, and the free-flowing wine made it even more fun. Elenyi was absolutely delightful—she shared so much about Greek and Mykonian food/culture, which made the experience even more special. I can’t wait to try some of the recipes at home. Highly recommend!
I have submitted a review previously and now it’s gone. They must somehow be cleansing their reviews. Beware. We had originally booked a cooking class that included lunch. The day before they asked us if we wanted to switch to a baking class and lunch because no one else had signed up for cooking. We agreed. The baking was fun and the chef was great. However it got super awkward when they called us out in front of the other guests because they were questioning if we had paid for lunch. That’s what we had agreed to with the switch. When the baking finished, we sat down for lunch, which had been described as a separate meal. They just served us what we had baked. It was fine, but we’re not that great of cooks, so it wasn’t great. Lunch never came. It seemed like they were waiting for us to leave. Maybe they didn’t have enough food? It was awkward and definitely not worth the price we paid. Wouldn’t recommend despite fun times baking. No refund was offered.
What an absolutely amazing experience. Helena and her assistant Christina put on by far the best cooking class I have attended in years. I have done cooking classes in many different countries, but they were merely "functional". Helena brought so much excitement, enthusiasm and knowledge to the course. I would highly recommend!
We had an amazing time staying away from the beaches and instead cooking with new friends. Our host was so engaging and funny that we were always laughing and learning new things.
