Description
Cette visite très spéciale vous emmène à l'intérieur d'un palais exquis de Mdina pour révéler d'étranges histoires de son passé fascinant. La soirée commencera dans les rues de Mdina avant que notre petit groupe entre dans le palais, où vous entendrez la légende du soldat français qui aurait été jeté de son balcon par des hordes de rebelles maltais. Vous pourrez toucher un morceau de la Vraie Croix sur laquelle Jésus-Christ a été crucifié, certifiée par le Pape et trouvée dans la chapelle privée du palais. Vous verrez également comment les esclaves étaient gardés près de la maîtresse de maison et découvrirez pourquoi un terrible joueur, fils d'une religieuse, a dû réduire la taille du palais. La visite finira par atteindre le toit du palais qui offre une superbe vue sur Mdina. Les boissons seront ensuite servies soit sur le toit, soit dans le salon. Cet événement fait partie de la série Behind Closed Doors de Dark Malta Tours, vous emmenant dans des lieux fascinants pour découvrir leurs sombres histoires.

Nous traverserons la vieille ville de Mdina avant d'entrer dans l'un de ses palais les mieux conservés pour la partie principale de la visite.

Absolutely lovely Tour by Mario Cacciatolo in Mdina,who is not only knowledgeable but also a very good story teller. I enjoyed every minute of the one and half hour/two hour tour starting with a walk around Mdina's narrow streets with Mario narrating about past historical events which probably even locals are not aware of. The Tour reaches its peak in a privately owned Palazzo with a rich history and also a rich array of artefacts with Mario together with the owners explaining the history of the building and as advertised even telling Stories of a Strange nature. The Tour is not at all tiring and I highly recommend it to people who love a bit of history mixed with fascinating stories of a distant past which you won't find in text books. Besides that it's a unique opportunity to visit a true gem of a typical Maltese Palazzo which normally is not open to the Public. Good job by Dark Malta Tours and keep up the good work ,Mario 🙏👍

Absolutely brilliant . It was funny and informative . Such a privilege to be with a guide who researches all this dark history . Some of it quite gruesome and some scandalous but delivered so well ! Definitely would recommend !
