Itinéraire chronométré intelligent : Cette visite semi-privée est prévue autour de l'entrée prévue du Colosseum Arena. Les visites du matin commencent généralement dans le Forum romain et la colline du Palatin avant d'entrer dans le Colisée. Les visites de l'après-midi commencent généralement par l'entrée du Colisée Arena, suivie du Forum romain et de la colline Palatine. Groupe semi-privé (max 6) : Un vrai petit groupe pour faciliter les déplacements sur les sites, du temps pour les photos, et beaucoup de questions. Accès garanti à Arena Floor : L'accès à Arena Floor est garanti aux dates indiquées. Entrez dans le Colisée par la Porte du Gladiateur et montez à l’étage de l’Arène, avec vue sur les aires de service souterraines depuis le haut. Billets nommés + pièce d'identité : Les billets sont spécifiques au nom. Veuillez apporter une photo d'identité originale. Prénoms et noms doivent correspondre; les deuxièmes prénoms ne sont pas requis. Guide autorisé et Anglais partout.

Forum romain et zone archéologique palatine : Promenade dans le cœur politique et cérémoniel de la Rome antique. Votre Guide donne vie au Forum avec des points d'orientation clairs et des histoires qui relient les temples, les arches et les espaces civiques à la vie quotidienne, au pouvoir et aux cérémonies publiques.
Palatine Hill : Continuez sur le Palatin, le légendaire berceau de Rome et plus tard le quartier des empereurs. Nous nous concentrons sur les points de vue les plus pittoresques et les zones clés pour relier les histoires des origines de Rome au paysage dans lequel vous vous trouvez.
Colisée + Aréna Étage : Entrez par la Porte du Gladiateur et entrez dans l'étage de l'arène pour la vue classique « œil du Gladiateur ». De là, nous regardons l'hypogée d'en haut pendant que votre Guide explique comment la machinerie et la mise en scène fonctionnaient en coulisses. Nous continuons ensuite à travers les principaux niveaux intérieurs du Colisée, en nous concentrant sur son architecture, son ingénierie et la réalité des spectacles. L'entrée se fait à un créneau horaire réservé; l'itinéraire est conçu pour atteindre le Colisée à temps.

We were hosted by Marle for private tours of the Vatican and Colosseum. Marle has a real passion for Rome and was a very informative tour guide. There was an overwhelming amount of artefacts to see at both locations and this tour was a perfect way to take it all in a short space of time. Although this tour is not cheap, we felt like it was good value for money for the quality of tour guide and for an experience with no waiting in lines.

We booked this tour based on reviews and Merel did not disappoint. I was super relieved that it was not cancelled as the group was very small. Our guide brought the history to life and she was unbelievably knowledgeable about Rome! She even gave suggestions for stops on the remaining days of our vacation. She was friendly and we also had a trainee Jerod who made the tour fun! Communication throughout the days leading to the tour was excellent and appreciated. Would highly recommended.

A fantastic tour which was made by the knowledge and enthusiasm of our guide, Teresa. Her narration of the history of the Colosseum and Forum was full of small anecdotes (who knew that the fertility of the Roman nobles was affected by the lead pipes in their palaces!) as well as describing a broad sweep of Roman history. The trip ‘underground’ is definitely worth the extra money, absolutely fascinating and a view of the Colosseum that most of the crowds miss. Highly recommended.
