Colline et temple privés de Penang

Description

Our excursion day was the holiday of Chinese New Year. At the base station for Penang Hill, the waiting time was 1.5 -2 hours due to the crowd of visitors. Not interested. Same thing at the temple, no interest. Our guide then at least rescheduled and showed us the first dam of Penang. Then the stilt village and the city graffiti. Only for that, there was no need to book a trip. Was within walking distance. Disappointing excursion
James was a very friendly driver and was happy to stop on a couple of occasions when we wanted to buy drinks from a roadside stall or see something in more detail. Visiting Kek Lok Si temple and Penang Hill station are must do activities when visiting Penang.
It was terrific and James our guide and driver was so good with us. If ever we were in Penang again we would contact the company and request James. He is a great guide. So, well done Tour & Incentive Travel! Our only hiccup was the meeting place, but that can be easily overcome for anyone considering booking this particular tour as a shore excursion. Either meet at the Clock Tower just outside the cruise ship port or inside the cruise ship port at the bottom of the escalator, which is where we eventually found James. Ours was a small mix up over the meeting place, but, when we did finally meet up, we had a terrific tour with James. Once again, we are happy we arranged through a local operator on the ground rather than booking through the cruise ship.
Tour guide did not explain enough need to talk more driving no good smelly mouth and body. Can use grab cheaper
Thank you for your feedback and we apologise for the bad experience you had with our driver/guide. We have decided not to use him again for future tours. We shall refer to Viator on any further action to be taken from the point of customer service.
Our guide Phillip was incredible! Very knowledgeable and willing to share his home town with us! We were fortunate to have a clear day and also got up to the top of the Hill very fast which meant we had some spare time for a fresh sugar cane juice and a visit to Penang White Coffee which was a total bonus! Highly recommend booking this tour (or any other with this company).
Philip was a fabulous guide and driver and gave us lots of information regarding the history of Penang and answered our questions with genuine interest. As it was a very busy day due to being Chinese New Year's day, the wait for the funicular was over 3 hours so he managed to get us the last fast track tickets up to Penang Hill. We only then had a short wait so well worth the extra. The temple was interesting but again very crowded but we made the most of our time there. A fabulous trip which I would recommend thanks to Philip
Great day tour. Our driver (Phillip) was absolutely brilliant and made the day perfect. Even gave us a couple of hours extra to do some souvenir shopping

Our guide Lawrence picked us up at our hotel in a mini bus, not the private vehicle we expected. However, we were the only two people on the tour.

The tour itself was very good, with Lawrence pointing out places of interest as we travelled to Kek Lok Si temple. This was a very impressive structure, and Lawrence's explanations and information added to our enjoyment of the building.

We then travelled to Penang Hill and boarded the funicular railway. Lawrence managed to get us right at the front of the train on the ascent and right at the back on the descent which were the best viewpoints for this impressive ride.

We enjoyed Penang Hill very much, and would have liked more time to explore. After descending on the railway, Lawrence returned us to our hotel. Overall, a very enjoyable tour.
