Nous vous proposons une visite dans de magnifiques kayaks entièrement clairs pour une vue et une expérience optimales de la bioluminescence de la baie et de son écosystème.

L'expérience commence à notre point de rendez-vous où les clients s'enregistrent, rencontrent leur Guide et reçoivent une brève orientation sur la sécurité et un aperçu de la visite. Une fois que tout le monde est prêt, les clients montent à bord de notre transport pour un court trajet panoramique à Mosquito Bay. Le trajet dure environ 10 minutes et longe un terrain rustique, offrant une vue magnifique sur Vieques la nuit avec un minimum de pollution lumineuse et un aperçu précoce du ciel étoilé.
À leur arrivée à la baie, les clients entrent dans l'eau en kayak et commencent la visite guidée bioluminescente. Vous passerez environ 55 minutes en kayak sur l'eau, où chaque coup de pagaie illumine la baie d'une bioluminescence éclatante. Les guides partagent des informations sur l'écosystème, les micro-organismes qui créent la lueur, et l'histoire naturelle de Mosquito Bay tout en accordant beaucoup de temps pour profiter de l'environnement magique. Après la partie kayak, les invités retournent à terre et sont transportés au point de rendez-vous, complétant l'expérience.

Overall I had a great experience doing the bio bay tour with Fun Brothers. Carlos is a great tour guide, and he explained the science behind how the phytoplankton in the water cause the light effect. I was fortunate enough to go during the right phase of the moon(new moon), and we had a fun group; in my opinion, it was worth it.
Guides were wonderful! What an amazing experience. They knew a lot about the bay, astronomy and the mangrove ecosystem. Highly recommend.
Omg so beautiful and our guide Raul is litterally a babi, hes such a sweetheart. Showed us the best way to take pictures and talked but in a good way.
The guys were great fun. They were patient and helpful. The bioluminescence was a lovely experience. Very spiritual! So glad we did this!

It was a really cool to see the glowing water. Getting to the kayak launch was rough. It will beat you up before you get there, really really rough ride down a dirt road thats never been maintained. Nonstop holes that swallow 1/2 the bus. Then walk through poop mud barefoot. If your paddling with a kid who cant paddle be physically fit to keep up. Everyone has 2 paddlers in a yak so they move fast. Ive never seen anything like the glowing before so it was really neat but a workout to get there. The guide was great and patient!

Because the area is part of a protected natural reserve, access roads are rugged and maintained as minimally as possible to preserve the environment. The mud and uneven terrain are definitely part of the adventure, and we always recommend guests come prepared for a more natural outdoor experience. Don’t miss this on your trip to the island! You will probably have to stay the night on the island if your main accommodations aren’t already here but, it will be worth it! GO ON THE DARKEST, DAY OF YOUR TRIP!!! this will make the experience that much better; if it is a full moon the bay will not be as bight as say a new moon! The tour guides were very kind and took their time explaining everything and keeping pace with the slower kayakers. I promise you won’t regret this experience!

This trip was worth it! It’s easy to find the meeting point where you will get on a bus to drive over a rutted, washed out road. The bay is quiet and warm and good for beginner kayakers. There are 2 in each boats. We had the bay to ourselves it seemed on the 8:15 tour. We had a star studded sky and every touch of the water glowed with diamond like light . The clear kayaks are a must. Carlos was our guide and he was both knowledgeable and supportive to boaters. He had fun bringing out jumping fish with his light.

Transportation was all screwed up because of the parade but got on an earlier tour anyways. Cool experience not sure I’d do it again but will recommend to friends and family.
