Ciutadella historique: une visite audio autoguidée

Really enjoyed this tour. We’ve been coming to Menorca for over twenty years and been to Cuitadella many times but found it fascinating. It was great to go down some roads we hadn’t explored but equally interesting to be right in the middle of well known areas and have information about things we haven’t noticed or didn’t know any information about. We paid to visit one of the palaces along the way that was recommended and learnt so much about the history of both families and places. We particularly liked the fact that the narrator was a local and gave personal information about his families involvement with some of the places mentioned. We found it easy to follow, simple to download and thought it was a good value trip.

On the whole the walking tour was OK We found the presenters accent difficault to understand at times. For example he pronounces 'island' as 'ice-land' which is confusing.. Also at one point on the tour he says 'retracing your steps,,'we naturally thought this meant go back exactly the way you came but in fact he meant take a road 6which runs parellel to the road you have just come from going back in roughly the same direction from where you came. This was the only time we went wrong but figured it out in the end. Thank you for the tour.

The town and its history was fascinating. The audio guide was informative and interesting. The audio was clear and it was able to tell me when I turned the wrong direction.

Ciutadella captivated us from the very first moment. Its narrow cobblestone streets, the stately houses, the port, and the tranquil atmosphere make strolling through the city a true delight. It has beautiful corners on every corner and a lot of history. The port at sunset is spectacular, filled with restaurants and terraces where one can dine in an incredible atmosphere. Moreover, everything is very well maintained and clean, which makes the experience even better. Without a doubt, one of the most beautiful and charming places in Menorca. It is essential to visit it!

This was our first self-guided tour. We thought it was terrific. Lots of cool information about the buildings and times plus suggestions on things to do in some of the buildings after the tour. We walked on roads built by the Romans - which we likely wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Really enjoyed the tour and the use of technology. The value was excellent. We’d do another in a minute.

It can be done at your own pace. The GPS tracking is brilliant so you know exactly where you are and which direction to go next.

A beautiful place to visit with its architecture, history and cobbled streets. Lots of shops to look around and and a market on the square. A lovely marina and plenty of places to eat and drink.

Perfect way to go round and visit all the places you don’t know about. Most interesting. Beautiful city in a beautiful country.

Very enjoyable walk around the old town. Go early so that you can visit the cathedral. Not everything is open.
