Retrouvez votre guide privé et local à 09h00 au lieu de votre choix à Reims, qui vous emmènera au cœur de la Champagne pour cette journée d'excursion privée. Ensuite, profitez d'une visite complète des caves souterraines de la prestigieuse maison de champagne Veuve Clicquot (visite en petit groupe - en cas d'indisponibilité, Veuve Clicquot peut être remplacée par une maison similaire) pour une première introduction au processus de fabrication du champagne et explorez les caves vieilles de 2000 ans et profondes de 25 mètres. La visite se termine par la dégustation de 4 de leurs cuvées emblématiques. Profitez d'un moment dans les vignes, avec des vues à couper le souffle sur les vignes de Champagne classées au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, et acquérez des connaissances sur les particularités de notre "terroir". Vous découvrirez ensuite le village d'Hautvillers, berceau du champagne. Entrez dans l'église où est enterré le célèbre moine Dom Pérignon. Traversez la célèbre avenue de Champagne à Epernay, capitale de la Champagne, où se trouvent quelques-uns des plus prestigieux domaines : Pol Roger, Perrier Jouët, Moët & Chandon, Boizel... Plongez dans le style de vie français et soyez accueillis dans un restaurant pour déguster un déjeuner de 3 plats accompagné de vins. Vous passerez l'après-midi aux côtés d'un producteur de champagne, découvrirez les coulisses, visiterez le pressoir, la salle des cuves, les caves et apprécierez les outils et le savoir-faire d'un petit producteur de champagne. Vous apprécierez plusieurs dégustations de leur propre production et acquerrez des connaissances en matière de dégustation de ces champagnes rares ! Après une journée riche en expériences et en souvenirs précieux, votre guide vous déposera à 18h00 au lieu de votre choix à Reims. Wonderful tour of the champagne region starting with Veuve Clicquot and ending with some fabulous smaller champagne houses. We tasted 11 different champagnes! Great group. Great guide.

We visited some champagne houses and did our sampling, all very nice but Epernay itself is a traffic choked nightmare. Cycling in the town is downright dangerous and walking isn't much better. A horrible experience.

We had a fabulous time in Reims/Epernay and my party was thrilled with the whole experience. We visited Pommery on the first day (iconic, huge scale and wonderfully easy to get to), but this was nothing compared to the day you organised. Our guide (Anne) was so enthusiastic but not gushing; her English was also very strong. She kept us informed, made it fun and the group size made it all feel very personal. The trip to Epernay was a real treat; seeing Boziel first, then Le Clos, where lunch and games were laid on, plus a great story of the business evolving; again , she made it really enjoyable and the hosts were a delight. Our final stop at Geoffroy Maitre was a good end to a brilliant day.

Perrine was a fabulous guide! She made the tour interactive with fun aromatic exercises and champagne process quizzes. Lunch was great and the quiche was to die for….I want the recipe!!!! Good luck with Chiropractic school Perrine!!!!

Perrine was absolutely amazing start to finish! Picked up on time in predetermined location. So warm & friendly! VERY knowledgeable about Champagne & the history of the region. Went above & beyond all day! Felt like we were long time friends! Even have & made dinner reservations after the tour. Was hesitant because of the price, but worth EVERY penny!

After some confusion with logistics, we had an excellent full day tour! The guide, Thomas, was great - very knowledgeable and catered well to the group. We visited the house of Moet, vineyards and a smaller champagne house, and had an excellent lunch. There was lots of champagne which were generous sizes. Can’t recommend more!
