We had an amazing tour of the Algarve and Coimbra with João and José. From the moment we met them, they made us feel welcome, comfortable, and completely at ease. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and made sure we felt safe throughout the entire trip. Their driving was excellent, allowing us to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. They were knowledgeable and happily answered all of our questions, sharing interesting insights about each place we visited. What really stood out was how genuine they were—it never felt like we were with tour guides, but rather with friends showing us around their beautiful region. They were also very accommodating to our requests and made sure we had a wonderful experience. Everything about the tour exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend João and José to anyone looking for a memorable, enjoyable, and stress-free Algarve and Coimbra experience.
Great tour guides. Interesting facts with a sense of humour. Particularly the visit to the two beaches, stunning views. You are given time to go off by yourselves to explore at each stop. A enjoyable day out.

Cristóvão was an amazing guide. The trip was a great getaway from Porto, and was perfectly planned so you do not feel rushed in any city. It felt like the VIP experience, and Cristóvão had wonderful recommendations for lunch and shopping, as well as great information as we moved throughout each city in the tour. I would 100% recommend both this tour and Cristóvão!

The tour was very well organised, including being contacted the day before to confirm and offer to purchase tickets for Coimbra University Library which we did thankfully! Our guide Joao Jesus was fantastic and very informative and friendly. We were only 2 people on the tour (instead of 8) which made it even more pleasant. Costa Nova was very colorful, interesting and different and Aveiro a quaint little town. Our guide arranged for us to taste Ovos Moles (the iconic local sweet) The boat trip is not quite like Venice! but still pleasant experience. Coimbra was very interesting and the university and library definitely worth a visit! A great day trip.

This experience of Aviero and Coimbria was spectacular with our guide João. Originally I had planned to do this by myself as individual train trips and my curiosity led me to Viator and found this journey to be perfect! So much better than I’d imagine! The details of history, ease of transportation without any confusion was a blessing! This is a must do experience and if you can have Joao guide you it’ll be perfection!

I would recommend the tour to Aveiro and Coimbra. Despite the limited time, we were able to see what's main. Both cities are very beautiful, each with its own characteristics. Aveiro in a calmer tone, with many streets to get lost and delight with the delicacies. Coimbra, more focused on the University, seems more busy with the students. The Joanina Library is a separate show. It's worth it all, especially if it's John Jesus as the guide. Very helpful and great in history. Certainly good memories were collected.
