Description
Découvrez l’une des destinations les plus importantes de votre visite au Costa Rica. Cette ville sans accès routier vous montrera un paradis naturel qui vous captivera. Au petit matin, votre guide ira vous chercher à votre hôtel à San José. En chemin, il vous parlera du Costa Rica et de Tortuguero. À mi-chemin, nous nous arrêterons pour le petit-déjeuner avant de prendre le bateau pour rejoindre cette ville particulière. Une fois que tout est rangé dans votre chambre du lodge au bord du canal, vous pouvez manger avant de partir dans l'après-midi pour visiter la ville avec le guide. Dîner aussi au lodge. Le lendemain, vous ferez 2 visites, une à la réservation du lodge et une autre en bateau par les canaux de Tortuguero (entrée du parc national non incluse). Bien sûr, tous les repas dans la loge entre les excursions. Le troisième jour après le petit-déjeuner, vous reviendrez en bateau à San José ou, si vous préférez, à Guápiles, d'où vous pourrez vous connecter à une autre destination au Costa Rica.

Well organised tour. Our guide Alex was fantastic. Enjoyed our stay at Laguna Lodge. Would recommend paying for the optional extra early morning boat tour and the walk up the hill tour.

Daniel is not a good Tour Guide. He is amazing, the best tour guide I ever know. His perfect English, vast knowledge and sincere kindness made our trip comfortable, light and easy. Witnessing turtles hatching (lay eggs) is an extremely special gift from nature. Don't miss this trip, if you come to Costa Rica!

I am so glad I found Natúa Travel. I was stressing out trying to make last-minute plans to see Tortuguero. Most all-inclusive packages were booked up and trying to coordinate the bus and boat situation myself was not ideal. Natúa got me a packaged deal at a great price. Great time exploring Tortuguero lots of wildlife. Bring ear plugs because you might be woken up by monkeys. The tour guide was friendly and very passionate.

We went in July in the rainy season but got really lucky with the weather so I wouldn’t let it put you off - as we almost didn’t book due to this! The journey from San Jose and back was very long but that was due to a land slide on the main road but the bus was comfortable enough. Most importantly in Tortuguero we saw loads of wildlife! The morning boat tour was a highlight- we saw crocodiles, caimans, monkeys, lizards and loads of birds. The guides were very knowledgeable. We also went on the extra trip to see the sea turtles nesting on the beach - this was truly a once in a lifetime experience. We were initially put off by the price but it was definitely worth it. The lodge itself (Pachira Lodge) was comfortable and basic and the food was fine for two nights. Overall would definitely recommend was an amazing experience to see plenty of wildlife.

Superb trip. Pachira Lodge was rustic, but had everything we needed. Fernando (the tour leader) was superb!! He made the trip. Very knowledgeable and very personable. He is a font of knowledge. The bilingual tour was a bit distracting, but was very interesting nevertheless. Can't recommend this tour enough.

We went on November after the turtle season is over and got 3 days of rain, nevertheless we were able to go on boat tours and see some of the local wildlife. The Laguna lodge where we staied is a nice place to stay, if you are not expecting luxury. Food was very good. Our guide Sebastian was a fantastic help and all the boat skipers were extremely helpfull in spoting animals and birds. The visit to Tortuguero "tipical" village is not necessary, only if you are realy into touristic souvenirs.
