It was a great experience working with them. No matter how complicated the process could have been, they were there! They were very thorough with the itinerary and logistics of everything which I appreciated. Any time I had questions at any time of the day, they were there. Overall very attentive and you'll never be alone. Of course Machu Picchu itself was amazing 10/10! As a novice female solo travel l'd highly recommend! Nixon is AMAZING and so helpful!
Machu Picchu is amazing, but the overall experience of this booking was quite stressful. At 5am on the first day, we were told to go to a different square than we expected to be collected from - it was fine in the end but a confusing start so early in the morning. Then we didn’t know who to look for - a car, minibus, particular person…? We got a call from the driver who only spoke Spanish. Fortunately my limited Spanish meant I could figure out what his license plate was so I could spot him, but those with no Spanish at all may have struggled. Again, it worked out fine in the end though. It was unclear where to go in Ollantaytambo when awaiting the train. It was only because we walked around and spoke to people that we figured out where we needed to be. We arrived in Aguas Calientes at lunch time, having been told we had lunch included in our package. We sent a WhatsApp to the organiser the previous day, who replied with a voice note saying we had lunch and dinner included on day 1, and breakfast on day 2. When we arrived in Aguas Calientes and needed lunch, we sent a WhatsApp asking where to go for that, and were told we didn’t have lunch included after all. A brief phone call cleared this up, and we were told even though we technically shouldn’t have lunch, we could get it because we had been told originally that we would. We went to the restaurant we were told to go to, and they seemed confused by us saying we were with the tour group. Again, this was sorted in the end, but made for a frustrating and confusing experience. We returned to the same restaurant for dinner as instructed (only when we asked - this information wasn’t offered up). Our private tour guide arrived to explain the plans for the next day, which was really helpful. Weirdly though, having been told to go to the restaurant for 7pm, the tour guide arrived saying he’d been to our hotel to collect us, and later on we saw we had a WhatsApp message from the organiser asking us to meet the guide at our hotel reception, which was not what we were told before. The hotel in Aguas Calientes was very basic amd not very private (hole in bathroom wall meant we could hear neighbours clearly, and big window looking into the corridor). It was also noisy at night (my husband had to go out into the hall and ask people to be quiet at 2am, as they were laughing and talking very loudly). As we were leaving so early, we missed the slot for breakfast, but via Google translate, managed to ask them to make us a breakfast bag to go, which they did, and which we much appreciated. We woke the next day very early to go up Machu Picchu, and from that point on, all went smoothly, and we had a great experience. Nixon, our main point of contact, was very kind and friendly, and helpful when we spoke on the phone. The overall issue we found with this booking was that no specific information was offered up to us. It felt like if we didn’t ask, send multiple messages and have phone calls with the organiser, we would have been in the dark and potentially missed out on lifts, food etc… It kind of felt like it would have been easier and less stressful for us to book everything separately ourselves.
I am short of words to describe the wonderful service and assistance provided by Nixon and his entire team of guides, drivers and others. The efficiency that they showed, the care and dedication towards customers is really unbelievable. Every call answered, every text messages followed up right away by Nixon, even at the late hours of the night. Thanks so much Nixon. We planned this very last minute, but you steered this through without a single hiccup.
The Machupicchu Tour was wonderful, visiting Sacred Valley is an unmissable plan and the experience with the recommended agency, all 10/10. Thank you to Ari for watching us and making the experience in Peru enjoyable
What an amazing adventure we had! Nixon was very helpful every step of the way. He set us up with an amazing guide named Victor! We learned way more than we had expected, and were very happy with the journey and experience we had. We highly recommend this company!
Thank you so much for sending us Victor as our guide to Machu Picchu. Víctor is an excellent guide. He is very kind, patient and knowledgeable about Machu Picchu and Inca culture. We learned so much from him. He showed many historical pictures of Machu Picchu from books that he carried with him. My phone battery was dying and Victor let us use his phone to take pictures of this unforgettable experience. He even saved a digital copy of our return bus tickets on his phone, so that we could return to AguasCalientes. It was a wonderful day. We are tired, but very happy
This was one of the best tours that we’ve gotten In a long time, starting with Nixon getting everything set up for us and made sure we were taken care of 100% From our driver from hotel to the bus station Edgar was very helpful and cheerful, Vanessa who meet us in the town before MachuPicchu guided us perfectly to make sure we got our tickets for MachuPicchu seeing that we made the trip last minute and they made it happen! Nixon is a great trip advisor/coordinator all around great tour! Highly recommend!
I recently took a tour to Machu Picchu, Peru, with Nixon and his team, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From start to finish, they were incredibly supportive, reliable, and professional. Nixon made sure to check on me throughout the trip, ensuring that I was doing well and comfortable. Their attention to detail and care for their guests truly stood out. I highly recommend their tour services!
This tour to the MachuPicchu was really amazing in every aspect: very well organized, and very good assistance. The guide on the Machupicchu was really knowledgeable and we had a super fantastic tour, with excellent weather and really good views. We made lot’s of pictures to remember this super awesome experience.
Being from the U.S. with our poor spanglish speaking skills Nixon expeditions watched over our excursion every detail from our hotel in cusco and back. I was greatfull that they went out of their way to not only provide a service of a tour but had the concern that their customer stayed safe in regards to their ability and needs. Glad we opted for train instead of car we would have been too tired and beat up.
Hello Harley, Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear that you felt well taken care of throughout your journey.
