Pleasant for exploring a town. Convenient for people with disabilities. Get on and off wherever you want.
Too expensive, not worth the money. Bus travelled mainly on outskirts of small town. No earphones, only a pre-recorded commentary which was very low in volume so difficult ultimately to hear
Vastly over priced £36 per adult! It's a 30 minute drive around mostly industrial area. There's only 1 bus doing this route. The driver was stressed he told numerous people that. No earphones, but I doubt there was any commentary anyway. Don't waste your money.
I paid £85 for 2 adults for a 35 bus ride. I only found out the price when I checked my card transactions. I didn’t see any prices displayed.
The bus route is good but the driver waited 25 extra minutes at the bus stop to sell tickets and therefore ran behind schedule for everyone. We only did the route once and ended up walking as the schedule was not consistent. The driver was nice enough but you really need to,stay on a schedule for a system like this
This is not worth the money. There’s no real narrative, only a video on a tv screen that you can’t hear. It’s a very small town - you can easily walk the entire place from your ship!

Very expensive for a 45 minute (if that) tour of Akyreyri (which is extremely small) £10/$15 would have been a fairer price for this

No one seemed to know where the bus would pick us up. Once we located the correct spot, rest of the tour was very good. Good way to see where you wanted to dpend time. City Center was the best!

Drop on/off points NOT marked on route. No location information available by cruise terminals. We had a very tough time locating this bus, given the fact that it only passes one once an hour. Good thing the bus is well marked.

Unfortunately, we never got to ride this bus because it never once showed up. We sat for over 2 hours at one of the stops waiting but it was a no-show. Tried again 50 minutes later and waited another hour; still a no-show. Walked around the town and STILL never saw it. Will be requesting a refund from Viator.
