Great experience! The tour guide took us to 4 villages in Cinque Terre. She made the journey on and off the trains very easy. Cinque terre is beautiful and very easy access by train
Basically this is only a person who walks you to the train, tells you when to get off, and when to come back to get on train again. There were multiple languages so we had to wait for translations into 3 explanations. If you have any confidence level w train boarding and exiting the tour is not needed. The stops are great though.
Our incredible tour guide Tiziana (Titi) made this the most incredible trip! The first train to Cinque Terre was VERY crowded and I didn't want to go any further! Titi walked with me down to the sea to see about taking a boat back. However, the waters were too rough. She encouraged us to continue as the first train is always the most crowded. And she was RIGHT!!!! The rest of the trains were good, and the incredible sights and scenery of Cinque Terre were beyond amazing! She also arranged a lunch for our group that was so good with a Meringue Ice Cream that had us begging for the recipe. Titi IS the tour!!!! Without her leading the group it just wouldn't have been that great!

The tour guide was great but not worth the cost of the tour. It would have been better to purchase a daily Train ticket and spend unlimited time in each village.

This is a MUST DO experience that you will absolutely adore. Our tour guide Mateo was fantastic, and gave us the right amount of time in each of the stops. Thank you so much for hosting our family - while we wish we could go back soon, the memories and photographs will have to suffice for now.

First, let me say, a visit to Cinque Terre is a must if you’re in the region! Simply stunning coast and charming “villages” dotting the coast. Our group of 10 opted to tour by train vs. boat since some in our group get sea sick and after the train tour I believe it was the more efficient and timely way to see the area. Linda, our guide, was very knowledgeable and was great at corralling the entire tour group which was roughly 20 people. Despite how much we all enjoyed Linda as our guide, there was one problem: the entire group didn’t speak English! We had signed up for an English speaking tour. Everything Linda communicated to us (details about the area or instructions for meet up times) had to be delivered in English, Spanish and Italian; and while Linda was very competent in all three languages it required more time spent communicating and took away from our time touring. Then the tour that we booked was suppose to include only 3 stops. Linda explained that we were, in fact, going to visit 4 of the 5 towns (seeing 4 of the 5 towns sounded like a bonus in the beginning of the day) but with all the time spent communicating everything in three languages we had 30 minutes to tour the last stop! We all agreed that it would’ve been better to have just done the 3 stops and had more time in each town. Also, our group all felt that Linda, as the guide, had no control over any of the negatives, that’s on the tour company misrepresenting and adjusting the itinerary. Linda was a real trooper and very good guide and Cinque Terre was still a very special place to visit!

We arrived at the meeting location at the designated time and the tour operator told us the tour was cancelled due to a “orange weather alert”. Claimed that I should have received an email but I never did. They also stated that I would receive a full refund… waiting to see if that happens.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel the tour due to force majeure circumstances. Because of the severe weather alert, we are not permitted to bring groups to the villages for safety reasons. We attempted to contact all passengers, but there may have been connectivity issues while you were on the cruise. Regarding the refund, it is fully guaranteed. However, the refund request must be initiated by you through the booking platform. Once you submit the request, we will promptly authorize it.
The tour guide, Lara, was very attentive and friendly. She took good care of the group. The tour was very nice. We visited four places. The trains to the locations were sometimes very crowded (few seats). I would recommend the tour to anyone (as long as they are not mobility impaired).

What an absolutely AMAZING trip. The views, people, sights, and sounds were incredible. BUT there’s a “secret ingredient” that made this day truly the very BEST DAY. Our guide Titi! She was the highlight of the day. Her knowledge, spirit, and smiles made the trip even more special.
