We enjoyed our time at the Christmas market with history and local fare. I would recommend this tour as a causal tour and our guide was super accommodating.
Thank you for your great feedback. Happy Holidays!
We heard some history to go along with our food experience. Overall it was an interesting tour. We were a small group so easy to get around in a crowded market. Our guide had a very quiet voice hard to hear at times.
Thank you for your feed back. We will work on it to improve.
Very informative tour- tour director Claudia has a great sense of humor. Food and drinks provided on the tour were delicious
Thank you for your great feedback. I enjoyed it guiding you in Nuremberg.
Food choices were good. Liked hearing about the history of the markets. Enjoyed the demonstrations from the vendors. Tour guide had a good sense of humor.
Thanks, Dawn, for the great feedback. Merry Christmas!
I am glad we did this. We got a sweet tour of a special ChristlesMarkets area! We are traveling Germany Austria, and Czech Republic during Christmas, and I wasn’t sure how I’d really feel in Nuremberg given the Nazi Rally history (horrific!). This added a human spirit that I needed as she told us more about the market traditions, walked us through local artisans stalls and stopped and got us Yummy punsch, brats, gingerbread. I might have stopped at brats and then gingerbread, as opposed to gingerbread then brats, but it worked out fine. Highly recommend this tour. Nuremberg has very traditional Xmas markets. Glad we had a guide one night!
Thanks Julie, we're very happy that you enjoyed our tour and you were able to experience another side of Nuremberg and not the Nazi period only. Nuremberg is a city full of history, culture and tradition. Full of different facets to discover. Wish you all the best for 2025!
We had a fun, educational walking tour with snacks and drinks along the way. We visited many authentic German booths and learned how things were made. It was the right length of time - 2 hours. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the Nuremberg Christmas market.
Thank you for the great review and are happy that you enjoyed our culinary walking tour of the Christkindlesmarkt. Wish you all the best!
Although our tour guide gave us some history we felt that the tour of the market was just ok. For the $ we would have like to have tasted more traditional German food.
Delicious food and drink, but SO SO busy. We were there the weekend before Christmas and it was completely ridiculously busy. That was our mistake though. The tour is amazing and so informative.
The Christkindlmarkt in Nürnberg with this guided tour was quite fun and enlightening - the food, of course, was amazing and I have decided there is no better winter than Glühwein! The crowds were overwhelming maki g navigation difficult, and yet the sites were spectacular! So much fun and well worth the investment of time and money! Martina - I hope that is her name - was exceptional!
Thank you for the great review! Wish you all the best!
Memorable tour with some tasty snacks and warm drinks along the way. The tour guide provided interesting information about the traditions and origins of the markets and Nuremberg’s history. The markets were extremely crowded which made following the guide difficult at times. Even with the crowds she managed to get to all of the major areas of the markets. Would suggest doing this on a weekday if you can.
Dear Michael, thank you for your review. You’re right the Christmas Market is always very busy on the weekends. A weekday visit is much more convenient .
