L'hôtel récupère le commerce vers 07h00 pour s'assurer qu'ils ne manquent pas le Big 5 tôt le safari est idéal pour voir les Lions, nous nous assurons également de quitter le parc à 16h00. Les clients sont transportés par la route de Livingstone pendant environ 1 heure de route jusqu'à Kazungula, un poste frontalier où vous devrez effectuer vos formalités de passeport pour les côtés zambien et botswanais juste après avoir traversé le nouveau pont de Kazungula. Le guide du côté du Botswana vous attendra, une fois que nous avons rencontré le guide, vous vous rendrez à notre bureau du Botswana où vous aurez un bref briefing sur l'activité. Après le briefing, les guides décideront soit de commencer par un safari, un déjeuner puis une croisière fluviale, soit l'inverse. Animaux disponibles dans le parc Lions, chien peint d'Afrique, gnou bleu, buffle du Cap, civette, crocodile, girafe, hippopotame, hyène, léopard, lion, puku (un type d'antilope, évalué quasi menacé), éléphant de savane, tseessebe, zèbre, et beaucoup plus.

I would highly recommend this trip! We were picked up (on time) from our guest house and taken to the border (Zambia/Botswana) our driver told us exactly what to expect and where to go. as we're canadian we didn't have to pay for a visa, but i understand that some nationalities do. our driver passed us off to our guide. one of the downsides was having to wait around for 45 mins. to meet up with others who were joining the trip. Our guide was great and tried to find the best locations for the animals. we saw tons of impala, elephants and giraffe, as well as a few lions, water buck, baboons, hippos and tons of bird life. Our driver would try and get as as close to the animals as he could without endangering them or us. After 3 hours we had a pit stop for water/soft drinks and the "bush toilet". We were then taken to a hotel for our buffet lunch. the lunch was rather chaotic as there were many groups there. the wait staff weren't very friendly. you are charged for all drinks (including water) but the food is included in the trip cost. the food was ok. We had about 35 mins to eat and then were taken down to a small speed boat. our driver was amazing at getting us REALLY close to the animals and was knowledgable about most of the wildlife. Just a warning you may get a little wet from spray etc. We saw way more animals from the boat and got to watch several elephant herds cross the river. Amazing day!

Pickup and border crossing to Botswana went smoothly, as did the onward journey to and then into the park. You can see many animals; the tour lasts between 3 and 4 hours. After that, there is lunch at a restaurant. You should do it if you are in Livingstone or Vic Falls.

This was the most fantastic experience. We saw lions close up! The very unusual sighting of a Marshal Eagel eating his prey and THEN an African Wild cat disturbed him and went off with his prey. We were very fortunate

The organisation of the day was complex but smooth, driver from hotel to Botswana border, quick nip to Zimbabwe border to get other guests, then into the game drive vehicle. Quite a climb in and out of the vehicle (no steps or ladder). 3 hr drive in Chobe, only toilet stop was in the bush. Then a 15 min drive to lunch which was at a lovely hotel but was busy, chaotic and the low light of the trip. Afternoon was a trip on the river in a lovely small boat, albeit about 6 others took the same route.

Our first time to Africa, and our first safari. It is worth every penny! Our driver to and from our hotel to the border was so kind, and informative... guiding us through the border process. Our land safari guide/driver was Simon. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Snacks had vegan options as well as the lunch buffet. Yay!!! Our river guide was also quite knowledgeable and fun! If you've never been on a safari, this is the best one for first timers, and those who've been before.

Such a fantastic experience! The Cherish team picked us up from the Avani resort in a very nice bus. They guided us through the international customs process. We felt very informed and safe. We had a large group of 20 people and each person loved it! They were clear on the cost of the safari and we could not have been more pleased with all we experienced for the price! We went on both land and water adventures and they were ahhhhmazing! We were able to relax when we were on the river boat and enjoy the scenery. You will not get a better safari! We stayed in Livingstone for two days. And Cherish Travel and Tours really packed a lot into those 48 hours! We saw Victoria Falls, the Chobe National Park, we walked with the Rhino's and even saw a Cheetah! It was a trip I will never forget! Whether you are taking a large group or on a family vacation. Great full day of animal sightings! The game drive with sooooo many elephants was spot on. And after having done a couple different truck safari’s the boat cruise was so unique and different. Saw elephants on the shore, hippos and crocs! Love the smaller boat as well. With so many moving parts and locations we were impressed with our guides/hosts keeping track of us and guiding us where we needed to be.
