The water taxi driver messaged me on WhatsApp to let us know his name and boat number shortly before the meeting time. We stood up in the back section of the boat for great views as we transitioned from the Grand Canal to a smaller canal and then the dock. The limo driver was waiting on the dock and it was a short walk to a very comfortable vehicle. He made a stop midway at a gas station for a restroom break and we were at the Viking cruise luggage drop off point before we knew it. Very easy and stress-free. The organizer responds right away when messaged on Viator with questions. Be sure to have WhatsApp connected to the phone number you registered with to get live updates when the water taxi driver is on his way.

I booked a transfer from Venice Marco Polo Airport to Chioggia and it turned out to be a lot easier than I expected. After landing, the driver texted me right away, so I didn’t have that classic “where do I go now?” moment. He found us at arrivals, helped with all our bags (we had more than planned…) and made us feel relaxed after the flight.
