Explorez l'incroyable architecture de Chicago du point de vue unique des trains surélevés et des quais de gare. Apprenez l'histoire derrière le célèbre système en "L" et découvrez comment il a façonné le développement des bâtiments dans la boucle. Le premier train surélevé de la ville a commencé ses trajets en 1892. Aujourd'hui considéré comme l'un des éléments les plus caractéristiques de Chicago, le "L" offre une vue incroyable sur le centre-ville. En étant à plus de 20 pieds du sol, vous verrez des détails architecturaux qui manquent à la plupart des piétons au niveau de la rue. Il s'agit de notre circuit le plus complet dans le Loop, passant devant des centaines de bâtiments et mettant en évidence ceux d'importance architecturale. We are CAC members and have many of the tours but this Elevated Train Tour was one of the best. Our guide Steve was excellent- knowledgeable, interesting and easy to follow. It was a great combination of learning about the history of the trains along with the architecture that surrounds them. We would highly recommend it

We had a wonderful tour with Quentin. He was full of information about events leading to the elevated system. Also, so much information about the buildings surrounding the areas we covered. The admission price is reasonable. The time allowed was sufficient but we would have enjoyed even more time.
