I had a Fantastic evening last night on the tour with one young friendly couple. Steph ,the lady taking the tour was extremely pleasant and easy to talk to and chose some excellent dishes for the evening . She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city of Chester and could answer all the questions put to her as we walked between the different venues . The tour was a gift for my birthday but I would highly recommend it to anyone either for a special occasion or for just a very friendly evening out with a difference .
Following a friends recommendation I booked this for a trip to Chester with friends as something different to do, we were not disappointed. Our guide was fantastic, she was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience very enjoyable. We ate at some amazing places but I won't say where to keep the mystery. We all agreed we would do it again and next time try the daytime one.
Steph was a lovely hostess, pleasant, happy, friendly and with a very good knowledge and understanding of the history of Chester. It was a most wonderful evening of delicious wines and a large selection of cheeses. There were cheese croquets, a large selection of cheese from a cheeseboard and a delicious Camembert with bread. The venues we visited were excellent and the wine experts were very knowledgeable. We would definitely do a second tour. Highly recommended.
Wonderful evening cekebrating iur joint 60th birthday. The guide was kniwkedgeable fun & friendly makibg the evening so memorable! All eateries were terrific and alk foid & drink tasty interesting and different!
We had such a fantastic time ! The whole experience was really well put together, with a great variety of delicious food stops that we probably wouldn’t have discovered on our own. A special mention has to go to Stef, our guide, who was absolutely brilliant. Friendly, knowledgeable, and full of interesting stories, Stef made the tour feel relaxed, engaging, and genuinely fun from start to finish. It was the perfect mix of great food, local insight, and good company. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for something a bit different – we’ll definitely be booking again!
Wonderful evening spent with Chester on a plate celebrating our 60th birthdays. Interesting food and drink were experienced at different venues in the city centre which were all served by friendly hosts who had a great relationship with our guide. Our guide was so knowledgeable about Chester's history and provided us with interesting facts about the buildings and placed we visited during the evening but kept the evening fun and relaxed. All of our group of four ladies would highly recommend the tour.
I am so glad you all enjoyed gthe evening! It was great to take you all to a few different venues and try new food. The restaurants do have the best hosts and chefs who love getting a group in!
