King Street a plus de 300 ans et est connue comme la deuxième rue la plus historique de Charleston. Meeting Street est en avance dans ce domaine.
La maison est considérée comme le complexe de structures domestiques d'avant-guerre le mieux conservé de Charleston. C'était la maison de William Aiken, Jr., gouverneur de Caroline du Sud, et avant cela la maison de son père, propriétaire de la South Carolina Canal and Railroad Company, William Aiken.
Ouvert en 1942 en tant que première salle de cinéma de Charleston, l'architecture royale Art déco de l'American Theatre et le glamour intemporel d'Hollywood font de ce lieu événementiel sophistiqué un lieu digne des tapis rouges et des chapiteaux éblouissants.
Connu historiquement sous le nom de Tower Depot, le Charleston Music Hall a été construit entre 1849 et 1850 comme gare de passagers du chemin de fer de Caroline du Sud et a été conçu par l'architecte de Charleston Edward C. Jones.

Le samedi, les visiteurs et les habitants font leurs courses au marché fermier de Marion Square pour acheter des produits frais et des friandises locales. Vous pouvez passer vos journées à faire du lèche-vitrines le long de l'avenue pittoresque, puis profiter de vos nuits dans les derniers points chauds.
L'hôtel Bennett a ouvert ses portes le 27 janvier 2019. Sa construction a duré 20 ans, les premiers travaux ont eu lieu en mars 2015 et la construction a duré 47 mois. L'hôtel est conçu pour donner l'impression que ses origines remontaient au 18e siècle. De nombreuses maisons historiques de Charleston ont été utilisées comme références en matière de conception.
La troisième caserne de pompiers construite après le tremblement de terre de 1886 était une nouvelle station 6. Elle a remplacé l'ancienne Marion Steam Fire Engine Company juste en bas du pâté de maisons.

My husband and I went on the lunch tour with Robin. Probably one of the best tours we have been on. Robin was very entertaining and also gave us the history of the food and some of the city. Would definitely do this again

We had a wonderful tour this morning with Nathan! He was warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable about all things Charleston. We loved each stop and getting to try the local fare. Everything was delicious, and Nathan arranged alternatives for the Vegetarian and Gluten-Free members of our group. In between food stops, we learned a ton about Charleston's history. At the end of the tour, he also sent a list of recommended restaurants and key things we learned, so we could do a deeper dive on our own. He also took a group picture and sent it to us. It was a very pleasant way to get to know Charleston with a local. We highly recommend it!

Beth was our guide and we had a nice tour around N King St. She was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the history of the area, history of some restaurants and had some great food. Shrimp and grits were my favorite of the tour.
