Josue was an energetic guide who made our visit an excellent experience. He was very knowledgeable very knowledgeable about the sites we visited and the history of El Salvador. We would highly recommend this tour and Josue as your guide.
Josué was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about his country and the sites we got to see. At no point did he make us feel rushed, but ensured we were able to do/see everything. Great trip, highly recommend if you’re here for a day and want to see the highlights. Lunch was great too.
Josué, our tour guide, is OUTSTANDING! He speaks excellent English with a mild accent. He knows the history of his country including ancient, modern, political, and more. He talked to us along the way coming and going. He driver was waiting at the foot of our Oceania Vista cruise ship at least 30 minutes before our 8 am meeting time with the van nearby. We had 5 couples in van that held 15, so it was very comfortable. The sites were excellent and he and the driver Josué (yes, same name!) made sure we got back to our ship before 3 pm, we'll ahead of the ship's departure time of 4 pm, which we were all very glad about. He adjusted our stopping times with our collective agreement so we should be sure to get back on time. Some of the Oceania's own tours o ly got back shortly before 4 pm. Would love to do other tours with Josué.
Josue (spelling?) was a wonderful guide who spoke English very well, and informed us on all major topics related to El Salvador’s history and current situation. We went up a volcano for excellent view and gardens, toured the “Pompeii” of the Americas Joya de Ceren to see an ancient village frozen in time, and enjoyed a restful lunch stop along scenic lake in caldera. We didn’t even have lunch but enjoyed sitting and looking at the lake. Driver was excellent getting us up and down the hills. Don’t expect grand structures at the ruins—it was just a farming village but well-preserved. Such wattle and daub construction would normally be lost to time.

We had a wonderful tour with Gaby. Gaby is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about showing tourists her beautiful country. Her communication skills including her English are excellent and she managed time very well keeping us ahead of larger groups. Gaby was flexible about responding to our specific interests and enjoyed answering our many questions. Thank you again Gaby.
They suddenly cancelled the tour the evening before it because not enough people signed up. No advance notice or other options were given, so I was forced to scramble to replan my vacation. So not recommend
Great tour, and Alejandro was an outstanding guide! Very friendly and informative. Picked us up on the dock at the front of our cruise ship. Highly recommend.
our guide Alejandro was very good, he explained everything very well and drove the roads safely too! thank you Alejandro for a wonderful experience.
Very interesting excursion with several important stops, such as Cerro Verde and Joya de Ceren. Our guide Josuè was an excellent guide with clear and exhaustive explanations. I recommend this ride if you arrive x the first time in El Salvador
