Enjoyed floating thru the caves
Thank you for your review! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the relaxing float through the caves. It’s wonderful that even a short trek through the jungle made the adventure worthwhile. We hope to see you back for more exciting explorations in Belize soon!
My wife and I were very happy with Cayo Inland Expeditions and would book our tours and intra-Belize transport with them again. John Hales (Cayo owner) was super responsive to our questions and very accommodating. Pedro was our guide on a half-day cave tubing trip. Not only does he have a warm and friendly disposition, but he's also a scholar of Mayan culture and Belizean animals and plant life. Wayne (our driver to/from airport to GAIA River Lodge) was also friendly and reliable. Overall, a great experience with Cayo Inland!
Hi! Thanks a lot for your wonderful review. We are blessed to have a great team of people working together. It was such a pleasure having you both with us during your honeymoon. All the best guys
From pick up to drop off, this trip was perfect. Dimas was both our driver and guide. He took such good care of us. Double checked that we had proper shoes, clothes, phone protectors, bug spray, etc. He was very cautious and made sure we got to the water in one piece. Once we got in, he took over. We learned so much and were able to just relax and enjoy the experience. If you go (and you should). I hope you get Dimas. He worked hard to make sure everything was perfect (and it was).
Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that your cave tubing adventure was perfect from start to finish. Dimas will be overjoyed to know how much you appreciated his care, attention to detail, and passion for guiding—he truly goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels safe, prepared, and relaxed. We’re glad you enjoyed learning about the area and were able to fully take in the experience. Thank you for recommending the tour and for highlighting Dimas’ hard work. We hope to welcome you back for more Belize adventures soon!
We booked with Rueben who is a lovely friendly guy at the shop in San Ignacio. Pedro our driver and guide picked us up from the Guest House at 8:30 in a large comfortable Ford people carrier. We found him to be a nice guy who was easy company to the whole family. He was very knowledgeable about the forests. Firstly, we did the 6 zip lines which were fab as you hoon their the first at high speed. The children thought it was great. The 2 guides who took us round the course were very safety conscious, fun and also told us about the wildlife. That took about an hour. Pedro then took us cave tubing which was excellent. Because he could see we were able bodied and could walk at a good pace he took us deeper into to the forest. This meant we did some jumping off the cliffs and experience an extra cave. The overall experience was great and would recommend doing it to see both the caves and the rainforest at its best.
The caves were amazing! The tubing was peaceful and fun. Petro clearly loves his job - knowledgeable about the history of Belize and the Cayo district, engaging personality!
Excellent tour! About a 45 minute hike with a few spots where you wade through the river until you get to the cave. Then you are relaxingly floating through the cave as the tour guide explains facts about the area and aspects of the cave. You have lighted helmets so you can see what is around. We paused about half way through, parked the tubes and walked for a little bit before a very nice 5 to 10 minute swim. The guide had about 10 years experience on this particular tour and was very friendly and helpful. Lunch was great - stewed chicken with beans and rice.
Our guide O'Neil took my husband and I from San Ignacio to Nohoch for the cave tubing. Both of us agreed it was the best tour we have ever done! O’Neil was so knowledgeable about the country and the caves. He had so many great stories to share with us! Because of our very small group and capabilities we were able to explore 2 caves and swim in the cenote. The lunch served at the park was also great.
Josh was the most AMAZING guide ever! We had the best time with our group, super informative and Non stop laughs! Seeing the other tours, we definitely had the best guide! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
We researched several options and went with Cayo Inland Expeditions for our group tours to Xunantunich and cave tubing. Our guides were fantastic - Jeremy led our Xunantunich group while Dimas and Josh led the cave tubing. Outstanding service and knowledge. We will use them again!
My boyfriend and I got to experience a wonderful cave tubbing adventure today! Our guide was Dimas and he was wonderful. We wanted to have a bit of adventure but chill kind of day and that is exactly what we got! The tour was beautiful! You can talk to Reuben at the office and he can help set you up for exactly what you are looking for.
