Jay was a very entertaining tour guide. The tour itself gave a nice overview of the island, history, nature, industries, and tourism. We made stops to take quick photos of beautiful vistas. 50 minutes was just the perfect amount of time for the tour.
This is a wonderful drive through Santa Catalina Island from the heights of the Wrigley mansion to the many items below. The guide was excellent sharing all the interesting information about the sites in the tour as well as personal experiences there. Santa Catalina is a beautiful place and the driver stopped at several places up high where there was a particularly beautiful view for gazing and photographs. Santa Catalina is a small community and you felt like family.
Everything worked out great and as expected
It was nice to hear about the history of the island and see a section of the island. We went through what I believe most people tend to hike so that helped us.
Fun tour with great views over the city and harbor! We learned lots of interesting facts about the island and its early inhabitants. Also a bit about current island life. Beautiful for pictures, but just so you know, you don’t get off the open- air bus. They do stop at prime locations and everyone can stand up and take pictures. It gave us a good idea of where we wanted to go when we rent a golf cart and explore on our own tomorrow!
Guide and driver were great, very interesting and well informed. Well worth the value. The time on the viator reservation was incorrect. Should have been 12:30 or 1:05
Unable to complete tour, driver refused to accept us due to 2 yers old baby and stating car seat requirement.(which is not mentioned in web)
Hit the highlights, gave a good overview, loved the historical content, great driver, and knowledgeable guide.
Jay our tour guide was great. He was very knowledgeable about the island. They stopped at the best spots for pictures.
We arrived on time at the original location, however, they had texted us two hours previous to show up in another location, quite far from our walking stride, almost late until I flagged down a golf cart driver and he raced us over to the right place. Yikes. The guide in the open air vehicle should NOT be a public speaker or guide. She did not want to use the microphone and asked if we all could hear her without it. Unprofessional, and also needed her phone to READ many facts, etc. not OK. The driver was excellent and with a cheerful demeanor, very professional.
