Wonderful experience with Rigo , Jose and photographer Tony!They were absolutely amazing and made our trip so fun! The water falls were my favorite thing on the trip. He made sure we were there early to beat the crowd. Wish we could have spent more time in the DR ! We will be back and will definitely call Rigo !

We booked directly with Rigo for private experience. Communication was excellent. Driver & guide/photographer was fabulous! We loved & bought the digital pics.

The hiking part was not too strenuous, there were plenty of break times and it was in the shade most of the time. The rental shoe options were not great, the ones they offered me were more like slip on boat shoes with no tread at all. I ended up using my chaco sandals instead even though they didn't cover my toes but it was completely fine. The waterfalls were really close together so once you start sliding/jumping, enjoy it cuz its quick. Rigo was our transportation and we had some confusion with the pickup location. I got an email saying he'd pick us up in the parking lot, but didn't mention which parking lot it was. We asked another tour person in the cruise port parking area and they said if it's booked outside of the cruiseline, it would be in the secondary parking area further away. After we walked over there and didn't find our guide, we had another nice person call Rigo and he was in that first parking area but we never saw him or a sign. Also, we tried booking a tour that included a buffet lunch according to the Viator description, but then after the waterfalls were done, Rigo informed us our trip didn't include any food at all. He was nice, but that was disappointing, especially for the price we paid.

I spent quite a bit of time researching options for our family's stay, and landed on two excursions (both Damajagua AND Paradise Island) that were tricky to pull off given the distance, but they helped make it all happen. Communication was great throughout, they were attentive and helpful throughout our entire day together as well. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Do not look elsewhere, this is the best pro tip I can give to any friends visiting the area.

Amazing experience! We can’t stop talking about our DR TRIP AND TOUR! Rigo has great hospitality! Our ride was amazing the water fall was so much fun. ! I’m lost for words! I’ll be back in DR IN NOVEMBER 2025 and I’m booking with RIGO AGAIN !!

Pop travels offers a true and unique experience. This is my second time touring with them and they haven't disappointed. My husband and I got picked up from Amber Cove cruise port and they were right on time. Augustin and Oscar were our guides and were absolutely wonderful! We went to Damajagua waterfalls and it was unimaginable in the best way possible. It was such a great experience. Oscar was our personal paparazzi for the day and he captured amazing/memorable pics and videos for our excursion. Oscar was fun and helpful throughout the tour. Both Augustin and Oscar were attentive and caring towards me when I felt sick. I'll never forget their hospitality..Highly recommend this company because they show you a great time and treat you like family!

Our private tour of 7 of the 27 Waterfalls of Damajagua from Taino Bay with a city tour was absolutely incredible! The waterfalls were breathtaking, and Rigo ensured we had the best, safest, and most fun experience possible. We used Rigo to take 22 of us to Damajagua Falls excursion. We had a great experience. Very good at communication, on time, and very personable. Our excursion was a lot of fun!

My wife and I were on a cruise and stopped in Amber Cove. We booked zip lines and waterfall excursion with Rigo prior to the stop. We found out the night before our boat was arriving late. We notified Rigo and he said no worries and worked with us. We met Rigo at the port right where he said he would be and was very friendly. Augustin was our driver and city tour guide. Gio was our photographer that went along which we did not plan on. Gio was amazing though and easy to talk to. Miguel was our waterfall guide and he was great. The zip lines and waterfalls was the best part of our 7 day cruise. Highly recommend. Gio was no pressure when selling the video and pics of us jumping into the water, sliding down waterfalls, and zip line. Gio really helped make this a memorable tour. I would definitely do this excursion again. Thank you Rigo for setting this up!
