Description

Our experience with guide Mohammad was wonderful. His knowledge and experience helped bring Casablanca to life for us. We enjoyed so many experiences together: walking through the medina; seeing mosques, churches, and a synagogue; visiting several excellent small museums; exploring the souq with so many local Moroccan artisans and craftsmen; taking a break for hot tea; visiting a bakery where we purchased almond pastries and watched a master baker manage an oven that bakes dough brought in by local women; walking along the corniche at low tide with its view of the Hassan II Mosque. The final stop was at an open air restaurant where we had excellent kefta plate and fresh fish plate. Throughout our time together, Mohammad answered questions and shared history, culture and religious aspects of Moroccan life. We highly recommend this tour!
Such an incredible day!! I was the only person booked so I got a whole tour of Casablanca just myself and my guide Hicham. With 18 years of experience, he truly knew everything and was easily able to answer any questions I had. The way that he told the history of the place made me feel like I was right there. I'm so glad I was able to hear about the soul of Casablanca from a local. The tour itself was wonderful, with lots of sights I would have never seen otherwise. I was in Morocco for work so only had two days to explore. I'm so happy I did this tour as I felt like I saw so much in just a short few hours. I very much appreciated that we could walk but that we also had a private driver for the duration. Early in the tour Hicham asked when I was leaving Morocco, to which I let him know that I was sadly leaving that afternoon. I let him know that I had just planned to catch a taxi back to my hotel and then catch a taxi to the airport. I had planned to just leave the group early if needed to make all of this happen in time. I also had told him about how I had gone to the Hassan II mosque by myself the previous day but had gone during the call to prayer so wasn't able to go inside. As I was the only person on the tour, Hicham went above and beyond to make sure I saw the best of Casablanca all within the time frame I had! Along the way he took photos and made videos to send home to my parents, knowing all the best views and photo stops! At the end of the tour, not only did he organise for me to go into Hassan II mosque for a tour, but he also organised for the driver who had been driving us all day to take me to my hotel, wait for me to check out and grab my bags, then drive me to the airport, negotiating a good price for me. This took a huge stress off my shoulders! He even gave me a call when I was at the airport to check that everything was alright and that I got there with no problems. Thank you so much Hicham for going above and beyond to make my last day in Morocco so special! I truly had such a wonderful time. You are a shining exemplar of Moroccan hospitality 🇲🇦
My tour with my guide Mohamed was good. As Casablanca is a big city part of the tour was walking and partly it was in a car. This was helpful as it was a pretty hot day. Saw the beautiful city and the beach too!! Would recommend to everyone!!
Thoroughly enjoyable and informative tour.
We had an enjoyable day with Mohammed learning lots of history of Casablanca and Morocco. Stops at cafe (included) and lunch (at own expense). Dropped back at our hotel was much appreciated. Definitely recommend 👌
Mohamed was an outstanding tour guide! Very knowledgeable and enjoyable. Our tour was for a period of just under 5 hours and a real highlight of our visit to Casablanca!
I booked a private tour for myself and my daughters and had a wonderful time. Mohamed, our guide, met us directly at our hotel. We were able to modify the tour agenda to add a key stop we wanted to see. We ended the tour with a delicious optional dinner at a local restaurant. The tour was informative, comfortable and safe. Some slow walking over generally flat surfaces required.
Hisham is a wonderful tour guide. He is an absolutely generous, patient and lovely person. I overslept and he was so helpful and facilitated me joining the group. He knows Casablanca well especially the Instagram worthy photo stops. I enjoyed him immensely. Highly recommended. Stylish dresser too. Takes great photos too
My tour guide was Muhammed and he showed me places in the old and new Medina, as well as many other places from business to residential areas. I got a good feeling of what the city is like and he shared interesting knowledge all way through as well as able to answer all my questions culturally and politically. Best tour so far in Morocco. There were no stops for shopping, which was very refreshing.
We had an excellent private tour of the main sights of Casablanca. The 4.5 hour tour with guide and driver was crammed with historical and current information. Thoroughly recommended.
