Avec le Carrara Marble Tour, vous aurez une belle vue sur les Alpes Apuanes et découvrirez l'histoire de la production et de la fabrication du marbre blanc sans défaut. Nous visiterons l'une des plus anciennes carrières de marbre. Ici, vous aurez l'occasion de découvrir les différents outils impliqués dans la coupe de ce précieux matériau, et de voir une reproduction détaillée d'une maison utilisée par les ouvriers des carrières de marbre. Ensuite, une visite spéciale au village de Colonnata, renommé dans le monde entier pour son exquis "lardo", assaisonné avec une épice locale et conservé à l'origine dans des blocs de marbre. Cette visite est adaptée à tout le monde car elle implique seulement une douce promenade et vous permet d'explorer.

From the moment Tania from Come See Italy picked up the four of us in a beautiful, spotless van, we felt like we were traveling with family. Her warmth, knowledge, and passion for the region made every mile memorable. As we drove, she shared the history and stories of each area we passed through, bringing Tuscany to life in a way only a true local can. The highlight of our entire two‑week adventure was the visit to an extraordinary family‑owned winery, CA' LVNAE the setting was stunning, the wine tasting exceptional, and the foods prepared for us were absolutely delicious. The tour of the historic Carrara mines—still in operation—was fascinating and unlike anything we’ve experienced before. This tour exceeded every expectation. Tania made the day unforgettable, and we will cherish these memories for years to come.

Great place where you can watch the mining of marble. Worth seeing is the small museum at the beginning. We didn't do a tour because we would have had to drive through the mountain with our own car behind a guide and only after that you get to the center of the marble quarry. We did not want to do that because after that the car would be from the fine marble jam!
