This is a great tour for anyone who wants to get out of the city for a day experience the scenery and history of South Wales. Max, our tour guide, told us about the history of Wales, each place we were going to, and recommendations for shopping and food. It was a great day and I would book again!
Our guide was really knowledgeable and friendly. The timing of the amount of driving with the number and lengths of stops was great.
Our guide, Max, was excellent. We loved all of the stops. Not overly crowded and we had plenty of time to explore. Max was very informative and helpful. Would definitely tour with him again.
Excellent mix of guided tour and time on your own. Our guide Max was very knowledgeable and provided great information on local shops and restaurants.
A great tour to see a small section of the country. It delivered exactly as promised - different coastlines with cliffs, and plenty of historical places. Max, our guide shared interesting facts and stories to help us understand Wales. Definitely would recommend
Our tour in Cardiff with Max was the absolute best tour of our trip! The time allowed at sites was perfect. I had been concerned that our train into Cardiff would be delayed but having the tour guides number provided the assurance we needed. The meeting site was easy to find. Our day was relaxing. At every site, you could choose what you wanted to do with your time. Max was very knowledgeable and could offer suggestions. We had the best experiences! Our transportation was comfortable and safe. Time management great. Felt like we were touring with a group of friends! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!
Hi Glenda, Hearing that you enjoyed your experience truly makes our day. Thank you for touring with us—we loved having you, and we can't wait to welcome you back in the future. Best wishes always!
Small group in a van so each stop made it easier to have everyone back to the vehicle at specified time.
Hi Brenda, Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you appreciated the small group setting and found it made each stop run smoothly and on time. We really appreciate you joining us and hope to see you again soon!
Lots of great pictures and memories - a nice way to see some highlights in South Wales - Max is great
Thank you for your kind feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed seeing the highlights of South Wales and made some great memories along the way. It’s lovely to hear Max helped make the experience special. We really appreciate you joining us and hope to welcome you again soon!
I had an amazing time on this tour! The beaches and Cliffs at Nash Point were incredible to behold. And the castles were amazing too, with scenery so beautiful that I swear that pictures of these establishments are postcard-worthy. Caerphilly Castle was my favorite, given it is one of the largest castles in the UK and was occasionally used as a filming location for the Doctor Who series. 😊 Max was knowledgeable as he guided my group on the tour and gave us plenty of time at each stop for personal exploration. I loved every minute of it!
Hi Andrea, Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback. We’re delighted you had such an amazing time and enjoyed the stunning scenery at Nash Point, along with the castles along the route. It’s great to hear Caerphilly Castle was a highlight for you, and that Max’s knowledge and timing helped you make the most of each stop. We really appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again soon!
Be prepared for inclement weather as this is Wales. But also you are packed tight into a van all wet and muddy. You are basically paying a lot of money to be driven around. This tour does not include anything that isn’t free of charge so you are literally paying for a very expensive ride. Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable, though I do with that he told us that there is really nothing to see inside of Caerphilly castle which is an additional fee. Also it would be better to have more time at Saint Fagans cause there was so much more to see and also where we stopped for lunch. I would not recommend this tour to anyone as it was way over priced for what it was. It was very cramped and uncomfortable on the van ride.
This is such an inaccurate and misleading review. Our driver said you were very positive during the tour, which does not reflect what is written here. The bus was not overcrowded. The vehicle capacity is 16 people, and 16 people can be accommodate comfortably.(15 passengers that day) Regarding the wet and muddy conditions, we’re sorry, but there’s little we can do about the weather. There’s no way to control heavy rain on outdoor locations—especially on the cliffs. Sorry not to have red carpet on the cliffs. All activities on the tour are FREE of charge, except for entry to Caerphilly Castle. The driver also did not say there was “nothing to see” inside—Caerphilly Castle is a UNESCO heritage site and guests had the opportunity to visit. Finally, the claim about time at St Fagans is incorrect. 1.45 hours it was provided as part of the schedule at St Fagans, and it is not only for a lunch break.
