Description

Great day! Full day filled with boat tour around the entire island of Capri stopping at all of the tourist highlights including Blue Grotto. Tour guide was great and friendly, offering to take pictures and get us drinks. Definitely go in the early morning to avoid lines at Blue Grotto and transportation on Capri. Highly recommend!
This was awesome! The boat ride was great, as was the swimming. You do have to transfer to smaller boats to see the blue grotto, and to go onto Capri. If you have any issues with your legs, this trip is not for you.
Vincenzio and Paola were fantastic! They explained the sights and made it a fun experience for everyone. We were able to go in the Blue Grotto and swim in the clear waters. Great day all around!
This boat tour is some of the best money we spent on our trip, what a great day! From how nice our boat was, to how it let us to experience the beauty of Capri, and finally the knowledge and energy our captain and guide brought to the table. We had a blast from the minute we got on the boat. Sergio and David were experienced, knowledgeable, and so fun. They knew everywhere to take us for the best views and little coves/caves. They made great recommendations of how to spend our time in Capri and gave thorough instructions for pick up at the marina. We came back to a beautiful platter of fresh cut fruit and beverages for all including Prosecco, peroni, water, and soda. We had a great time swimming and listening to music. We finished our tour with a trip to the blue grotto. It definitely exceeded my expectations! It was awesome. Again and again Sergio and David’s knowledge and knowing the locals paid off. We had so much fun and saw the entire island. 10 out of 10!
The boat tour to Capri & the Blue Grotto was really nice. Our boat driver, Alessandro, was great. He was funny & very personable. Unfortunately due to weather conditions we couldn’t go into the blue grotto but Alessandro did his best to try to make up for that by driving around the island & showing us more things. Also allowing more time for swimming off of the island. It was nice to see Capri & we had ample time to see the highlights of the island & take pics.
Be careful with all the hidden costs! There's a "service charge" that you must pay to enter the boat (15 euros). The skipper is very vocal about his expectation on tipping. He literally tells everyone that you must pay 20 euros tip per person, 40 euros per couple. (On top of the 15 euros service charge) The blue grotto cost an additional 18 euros per person (for a 3min visit in a row boat) and you are also expected to pay a tip of no less than 10 euros to the row boat person on top of that. Once you get to the island, if you want to visit Anacapri, the taxi costs 40 each way, or 25 euros for the bus shuttle. There are signs everywhere on the island that it's prohibited to sit on the ground or on steps. And there are very few benches (all of them in the sun) basically forcing you to take a table at a restaurant for a very expensive price. A can of coke costs 6 euros. It's a tourist trap. I'd not recommend.
It is an indestructible paradise!!! Davide and Sergio animated the walk too!!!
We had an incredible day. Our guide, Lucio, was very friendly, made us laugh, and ensured we all had a blast.
We had a great experience with the captain and his assistant. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to go in the blue grotto. At the grotto be aware that the boatmen are extremely aggressive about getting tipped a lot and in cash. He chastised us for giving him an 8 euro tip (we gave him more, but should not have). We were one of the first boats there. Saw the other grottos, swam, and enjoyed Capri for 3 hours.
The tour around Capri was very beautiful. However, the Blue Grotto is a rip-off. All in all, you pay 80 euros for 5 minutes in the Blue Grotto for two people, with a bit of tip, which is relatively firmly demanded there. What we also do not appreciate is the "recommendation" for a specific restaurant, which is then completely overpriced.
