Great day out with Lynette. Lots of really fascinating history and she got us to the best photo spots before the crowds . 8.00 am start well worth it and she collects you from your accommodation in a spacious van Very relaxing being driven and able the views . As we had already done penguins at bettys bay so went to groot Constantia wine estate instead . Great day out
it was so amazing!! Lynette was so nice and friendly - would highly recommend it to everyone!! Everything went better than we could have imagined.
Lynette our guide was phenomenal, she made our tour very interesting and we were able to spend all the time very efficiently, she knows the city so well and has a lot of interesting facts to tell, she recommended us to start the tour a little bit earlier to avoid the massive tourists and it was definitely the best idea, because we were able to take pictures amazing pictures and visit every spot before all the massive group of tourists arrived. I totally recommend doing this tour.
Driving thru the amazing scenery was wonderful but without Lynettte’s seemingly endless treasure of facts about the history, landscape, animals and penguins, it would not have been half as good!
Cliff was a fantastic guide. He took 2 couples all over the peninsula, stopping at key points of interest. He was prompt, courteous, professional and lots of fun. His first hand knowledge of the area and his obvious love of the people and country of South Africa was wonderful. He went above and beyond our expectations for the day. We would use him again if we are ever lucky enough to return to the Cape Town area.
Sally made sure to maximize the time we had. She was informative, funny and helpful. Truly recommend her.
I wish I could remember my tour guide's name but I've been all over that I struggle to remember. I want to say it's Cassandra. The tour took place on 9/15. She picked us up at the scheduled time and greeted us with a resounding "Welcome to South Africa!" smile. We joined others in the tour minibus. We drove down the coast, making several stops to take in the incredible views. She shared her knowledge with us about the sights we were experiencing. We reached Cape Point and saw the incredible views it offered beginning with the Old Iron Cast Lighthouse and the new one located further out on the cliffs. To the right, was the Cape of Good Hope, with its aqua color waters. We took incredible pictures. Cassandra (I will keep calling her that for now) gave us enough time for us to take in the sights, get a quick snack and stick to our schedule. She was our mother hen. We continued our trip to Boulder's Beach were we couldn't stop laughing at how silly the penguins were behaving. It was sad to hear that during this time of year, the chics survival rate is low due to weather changes. We observed conservationists gather some of the less nourished chics and take them to a rehabilitation center where they will be fed and cared for until they are healthy enough to return to the beach. What a great way to start this trip, and Cassandra had a lot to do with it. Great job!
Thank you so much for your review of your Morning Cape Peninsula Tour. We're really pleased you had a great experience and hope that the rest of your holiday was just as awesome. We look forward to Welcoming you back to Cape Town in the near future.
