Hout Bay (afrikaans: Houtbaai, qui signifie "Wood Bay") est une banlieue du Cap, en Afrique du Sud, située dans une vallée du littoral atlantique de la péninsule du Cap, à vingt kilomètres au sud du quartier central des affaires du Cap. Le nom "Hout Bay" peut faire référence à la ville, à la baie sur laquelle elle est située ou à la vallée entière.
Histoire de Chapman's Peak Drive. Chapman's Peak doit son nom à John Chapman, second du capitaine d'un navire anglais, le Consent. Le sommet qui plane au-dessus de la tête ne porte pas le nom d’un gouverneur ou d’un alpiniste courageux, mais du pilote d’un navire humble.
Il est connu pour ses paysages spectaculaires. En 1488, l'explorateur portugais Bartholomew Dias le baptisa Cap des Tempêtes. Il fut renommé plus tard, par le roi Jean II du Portugal, Cap de Bonne-Espérance en raison du grand optimisme suscité par l'ouverture d'une route maritime vers l'Inde et la Est.
Le phare original a été construit en 1859 sur le pic Da Gama, le sommet de Cape Point, à 238 m d'altitude. Cela le rendit très inefficace dans la brume qui rendit obligatoire l’établissement du deuxième phare à 87 mètres. Le nouveau phare, construit en 1914, est le plus puissant de la côte sud-africaine.
Une visite à Boulders Beach donnera une chance de rencontrer de près nos propres pingouins africains.

This was an amazing experience ,I highly recommend this tour to people who enjoy sea life and adventure as well as long walks along the coast.
This whole experience was so amazing ! I definitely recommend for families , couples and solo travellers. You get more than what you pay for and the staff are so lovely and friendly! My children are begging me to come back to Cape Town so that we can do more! We felt so taken care of and it was an extraordinary day spent.
They are just great they make our tour the best. We are planning to visit there with them very soon and this time we are also going to take other services they are providing as we think other services provided by them will also be the best as like this one. Unbelievable, Awesome, and Amazing are just a few words that come to mind about our trip. From the begin during the planning the trip planners were great. They were very informative with tons of information and knowledge. They gave me so much info it was hard for me to choose. They answered all my emails and text promptly with tons of details/info. Our adventure start in Victory Falls staying at the a Lodge. This place was first class, with tons of things to do. A must stay if you are in this area. The falls were the highlight of the trip for me. Massive, breathtaking, powerful, and beauty are words that come to mind. From seeing a pride of lions kill a zebra to tons of wildlife, birds and natural beauty.
