Description
Cette visite commence dans une ferme locale où les habitants vous accueilleront chaleureusement, après que les guides vous auront habillé avec le harnais, le casque et les gants, nous ferons une courte randonnée de 5 minutes pour nous immerger dans la végétation dense afin de trouver notre canyon caché, une fois que nous aurons obtenu le premier rappel d'entraînement, les guides prononceront un discours de sécurité et commenceront à descendre le premier rappel de 49 pieds. Au fur et à mesure que les compétences progressent et que la confiance grandit, vous descendrez 3 autres rappels, chacun avec des défis différents. Les hauteurs des cascades de cette visite se situent entre 49 pieds et 131 pieds. Tout d’abord, vous descendrez dans un monde à couper le souffle de cascades, de sentiers cachés et de falaises rocheuses. Descendez des chutes verticales, sautez dans des piscines rafraîchissantes et naviguez à travers des gorges étroites, entourées par la forêt tropicale luxuriante. Après une séance de canyoning revigorante, il est temps d’affronter les rivières sauvages du Costa Rica dans une aventure palpitante de rafting en eaux vives.

Après une séance de canyoning revigorante, il est temps d’affronter les rivières sauvages du Costa Rica dans une aventure palpitante de rafting en eaux vives. Montez à bord d'un radeau robuste avec votre équipe et pagayez dans des rapides qui mettront à l'épreuve vos compétences et votre travail d'équipe. Ressentez le rythme du Rio Balsa, avec une section de classe III de 45 minutes rapide par rapide, et une section inférieure d'une heure pour vous détendre sur des rapides plus faciles, nager dans les eaux tropicales, vous arrêter pour manger des fruits au bord de la rivière et observer la faune comme les paresseux, toucans et iguanes. Vivez le frisson de conquérir chaque rapide, en travaillant ensemble pour naviguer dans les méandres des courants puissants. À la fin, vous serez récompensé par un délicieux déjeuner costaricain.

Le service de prise en charge inclus dans le prix s'applique uniquement aux hôtels situés dans un rayon de 5 km autour du parc central de La Fortuna. Tous les clients des hôtels situés en dehors de ce rayon doivent nous contacter pour vérifier si leur service de prise en charge est disponible. inclus ou vous devez payer un supplément. Alternativement, vous pouvez vous rendre à notre base d'opérations à La Fortuna (Arenal Rafting Company), 333ème Avenue, 460ème Rue, où nous disposons d'un parc sécurisé et d'autres installations.

An amazing combo day tour with canyoning/rapelling followed by white water rafting! Well organised by ABC Canyoning and Arenal Rafting and great food provided throughout!! Went with our 10 year old son and 8 year old daughter and they were well looked after! Highly recommend. Jaime (from Colombia!) was fab at Arenal Rafting
booked a tour through this company, and paid extra for their Full Refund Policy, which states: “By paying this insurance, you will be able to cancel the tour without giving any reason for doing so. Receiving 100% of the amount paid at the time of reservation. Please Note: This refund only applies if cancellation is requested one hour in advance before the tour start time. If cancellation is not informed to our booking department on time, the booking will be consider as "No Show," so it wont be refundable.” I pulled a muscle during an earlier excursion, but had been improving, so I was optimistic I would be in good shape before the canyoning tour. I purchased their add-on refund policy just in case. Unfortunately, after the long drive from the coast to La Fortuna, I woke up the next morning in so much pain I was barely able to walk. I reached out to them to cancel as soon as I woke up, which was several hours before the tour start time, and was told I can’t just cancel without justification (even though their policy states otherwise). I explained my situation and was told they would send it to management to process. I received an email confirming the cancellation, but no refund, so I followed up again through WhatsApp to let them know. They stopped responding to any of my messages at this point. So, just a heads up for anyone thinking of using this company. They don’t honour their own policies and then ignore their customers. See attached pictures of the policy, as well as the conversation, and read, but unanswered messages.

Today I did the canyoning excursion .I did not do the combo tour . The guides were amazing . Very safe and knowledgeable. The meal at the end was very delicious. The hike back up from canyoning . It’s a tough one, Im sure I’ll be sore tomorrow . But it was worth it. I do not remember the guides names we had today . But they were so great.
We did the morning canyoning tour. Friendly staff, very safety conscious. Great experience walking through jungle and rappelling down a series of waterfalls, the last of which was 230ft /70m. Excellent lunch was provided, there were options for all diets e.g. fish, meat, veggie, vegan. Overall a great experience :-)
This canyoneering tour was the highlight of our family trip to Costa Rica. Alonzo and Gray were terrific guides, with safety as their #1 priority. They clearly communicated rappelling instructions and the plan for the day. Since our time slot was at noon, we drove to a nice spot and had lunch first. Then we walked to the 1st rappel. After doing 4 rappels, each one different and progressively more challenging , we hiked up to the top of”Infinity Falls.” It was very beautiful and over 80 meters high. The guides use the 4th rappel as a test to make sure you’ll be safe on Infinity falls. I’m an active 62 year old woman in good physical condition. I was concerned about getting hurt by maybe spinning around due to the force of the water and hitting the rocks. But I felt confident because of Alonzo and Gray’s instruction and my previous life experiences. You have to be able to focus on the task and not panic, especially when the water is pounding you. After all the high fives, we hiked back up to where we started and changed into our dry clothes. There was coffee, hot chocolate and chocolate for sale. I recommend wearing a rain jacket and having a warm, dry jacket to put on afterwards. They keep your stuff at the lunch place where you start and finish. This is not for everyone, but it was great for our active family, boy (18), girl (26), dad (63) and me (62).
Great experience to do with guides, don’t need to be very experienced because they are extremely helpful and they do a lot of the work. Definitely recommend!
The guides were great and full of information about the area, and the trip was a lot of fun. Definitely do this trip if you are in La Fortuna-Arenal.
