Caminito del Rey Trekking Walkway

Description

Great experience, lovely and interesting tour. Be aware that the timings may not be 3pm more like 3:15-3:30pm to start
No more Naturanda. I would not recommend it to ANYONE. Bad start from the booking and then worse and worse. Only consolation that the caminito is worth visiting. I say nothing else otherwise a page would not be enough to list the disorganization and problems we have encountered.
Cordiali saluti.
The Caminito Del Rey offered amazing views and jaw-dropping sights. However, I do not believe a guide was needed. It was very difficult to comprehend the guide and it was much less cost- effective. Our guide, named Samuel, was very nice and had some very interesting things to say, but we did not properly hear some of them. The bridge was the best part of all the views, though it was slightly frightening. 🫣 For a 40 euros per person you would think the return shuttle bus would be included. The company who organised the tour was rather chaotic and had not organised the meeting point clearly and additionally about 30 minutes late to start. In summary, I think the Caminito Del Rey is an amazing experience, but if I had to do it again, I wouldn't have gone for a guide again. Caminto 5 star Guide 2 star
Hello, thank you very much for taking the time to write your thoughts regarding the experience. Please note that you selected the activity without transport. Kind regards.
Fantastic experience Super excellent guide (Martina) Top 🔝 recommended
The hike is spectacular and not strenuous at all. Very safe environment and with the exception of the suspension bridge at the end there are no scary bits. The bridge was affected by hight winds when we were there so it had a bit of sway but nothing more. Went with two children aged 12 and 14 and they loved it too. It is a two hour leisurely walk from end to end.
The path itself is simple at the beginning, breathtaking at the end. It's hard to say why you need a helmet for the safe way. Even people who are no longer perfect on foot can handle it well. What's annoying is that you're always scared away a bit in a group. If you still get tickets, you'd better go individually.
Time shifted by 1:30, we arrived in the middle of the night😵💫, frankly very unhappy , arrived at our car at night

Very good experience, especially since I had not managed to book with a guide in French, we were surprised to have a guide who also spoke French.
Cordialement, Naturanda
Awesome multilingual guide. He provided quite a bit of information about the trail's history and surroundings
Hi Alain_B, thank you for your kind review! We’re so pleased to hear you enjoyed the Caminito del Rey Trekking Walkway tour. We hope to welcome you again soon for another wonderful experience! Best regards, Naturanda Team
The actual walk and views were stunning. Sadly we were left underwhelmed with your process. After firstly having a change from midday to 3pm which effected our planned day. The meeting point organisation and size of group, 30 certainly isn’t a small group, there were so many other groups on track slowed the whole event down, there was little information from the guide, at the end we were left to get to pick up or shuttle bus areas. We were not advised that the shuttle was not included. Many others were not impressed that a ticket was required. Had we known what we were going to get for our guided tour we would have just walked independently and not have had to waste our day. You have a very special place here to showcase and sadly we were left not wanting to recommend this to anyone to do a guided tour. Big tick for views
