Commencez votre aventure avec un pick-up à l'hôtel à Santiago, en direction de Cajón del Maipo, une superbe vallée dans la Cordillère des Andes. Notre premier arrêt est San José de Maipo, une ville historique où vous pourrez explorer les marchés locaux, l'artisanat et l'architecture coloniale tout en découvrant la culture de la région.

Randonnée panoramique à travers la vallée de la Engorda, l'une des vallées les plus pittoresques de la région, entourée de sommets imposants et de vastes plaines ouvertes.
Restaurant local à Cajon del Maipo Description: Au retour, vous aurez la chance de déguster une cuisine chilienne authentique. Goûtez aux empanadas chiliennes, au pastel de choclo ou à un asado traditionnel (BBQ) dans un restaurant local confortable. (Déjeuner non inclus dans le prix de la visite).

What a great day! Maxi was our guide, and he picked us up promptly and piled our family of 4 into his comfy 4x4 (definitely better than the van option if you get the choice). Maxi was such a pleasure to get to know and to spend the day with, incredibly thoughtful and accommodating from start to finish, and full of suggestions for possible fun things for us to choose from as we went. He got the feel for us quickly and customized the experience to our vibe. You can read plenty about the destinations themselves, which were great (the mountains are just breathtaking), but really what makes the day is the energy and sense of fun and interest the guide can inspire in the group, and for that Maxi was the best and the highlight of our whole stay. We learned so much while our senses were treated at every turn. If we ever get the chance to go back to Chile we will look forward to another adventure with him!
Danitza was a great guide. The soaking pools were amazing and on a Monday mid-day were nearly empty of people. Both guides offered good local knowledge and the lunch was delicious. We had a few issues on the trip and the guides managed through them with calm and poise leaving all of us feeling great about the experience.

The best tour without a doubt. Maxi is a super guide, very friendly, explains everything very well and with a great knowledge of the area. We would definitely take this tour again.

1. Diego was an amazing guide! Super considerate and knowledgeable. I've never had a guide who had snacks waiting for me. Also, he was great about answering all of our questions and made sure the trip was whatever we wanted it to be. 2. Cajon del Maipo was absolutely beautiful. We got stunning pictures. 3. We loved the hot springs! The roads are totally treacherous to get there, so we were very happy we didn't try to rent our own car.

Amazing exit! We toured the Gypsum Reservoir with Francisco, guide of Explore the Andes. The guide was very cool and spoke perfect English. Everything was well organized: transport, snack, and the places we visited. We also went to Thermal Baths, a magical place. It is not a massive tour, but something more personalized and connected to the mountain. 100% recommended if you are looking for trekking or real nature in the Andes of Chile. I'm already thinking of doing El Plomo or a multi-day in Patagonia with them.
