Cairo Tours Private pendant 3 jours

I was in touch with this group about six weeks before our planned travel. We wanted to create an itinerary in Cairo that did not duplicate the tour we had already booked, so I sent the information to Yousri directly and outlined the types of experiences we were looking to have. (I found out later that ETC hosts tour experiences around all of Egypt). Egypt Tours Club did not disappoint! From our assigned tour guide - Gemy - to our scheduled visits to Old Coptic Cairo, Garbage City, St. Simon Monastery, Old Islamic Cairo, Khan El-Kalili bazaar, Wadi Al-Hitan (Valley of the Whales) and the Fayum Oasis Safari, each visit was placed into historical context and Gemy explained the culture, customs and architecture with clear understanding of Cairo's place in history and the millennia that shaped this fascinating city. Highlights for us included wandering through the narrow retail/shopping alleys at Khan El-Khalili - such a visual and visceral treat! - filled with artisan crafts, souvenirs, food stalls and textiles of every imaginable shape and color. Valley of the Whales, where fossils tell the story of the whale changing from a land based animal to an ocean-going mammal and considered the most important site in the world for the demonstration of this stage of evolution. It was mind boggling to walk among the actual excavated skeletal structures and see where they took their final breath at the bottom of the ocean 37 MILLION YEARS AGO!!! Likewise, rolling through the dunes of the endless and white sands of the Fayum desert in a tricked out 4x4 was an exhilarating experience. Our driver took special measures to make sure we got the thrill of our lives on this ride and we laughed all the way through the high dune climbs, spin outs in the sand and rambling off road adventures! The price was very reasonable for three days private experience which included hotel pick up and drop off, our guide, our driver, applicable entry fees and water throughout the tours. Finally, and most importantly, I'd like to take a moment to address the safety of our experiences: At no time did we feel unsafe or threatened. In fact, quite the opposite. All of the sites we visited had increased safety measures in place, with visible security presence, bag checks and quite friendly staff addressing every need. Our guide, Gemy, was acutely aware of the concerns of (especially) American travelers and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable at every stop we made, and along the way. I would not hesitate to recommend Egypt Tour Club to friends and family, and look forward to engaging with them again when we return to this ancient, magical, mystical country.

Our tour guide in Luxor was also great!! This group took great care of us from communicating our next move, transportation and our hotel stay. Will always use this company.

Our three-day tour of Cairo was exactly as we wanted it to be! Mona and Ahmed made sure that my father and I had an amazing experience, always feeling like we were four friends going around seeing the sites! Beyond Mona and Ahmed being extremely kind, heartwarming individuals with a constant smile on their face. Mona was an excellent tour guide and extremely knowledgeable about Egypt and its history. Ahmed who drove us around was excellent and always right where we needed to be so we didn't have to wait a second to move on to the next adventure. Beyond the scope of the tour, Mona and Ahmed made sure that anything we needed we got. We wanted some fresh fruit to enjoy during the evening and they took us to a street vendor and made sure we didn't get ripped off while we shopped. They also staved away numerous individuals who are trying to sell you something which is understandably very common in Cairo, Marrakech, etc. but can get tiring at times. Mona also ensured that we didn't wait in a single queue as we visited museums and sites and took us to amazing "off the grid" spots to enjoy some local culture. Overall, a 5/5 experience and I would recommend to anyone that wants to enjoy Cairo and all it has to offer while feeling like they are visiting a friend. Don't hesitate to book!

The company, driver and guide were very accommodating, responsive and reliable. They made our time in Cairo unforgettable. Our guide Hussein was knowledgeable, flexible, and great with our kids, making the tours very enjoyable for them. We had a fantastic time thanks to Hissein’s guidance and flexibility, he made sure that we got into all the attractions without standing in long lines and avoided peak sun. He was also able to adjust to our last minute requests and changes. Most importantly, he was kind and fun to spend 3 days with.

Egypt is by far one my best travel experiences. My private Tour guide Ali, was very knowledgeable, down to earth, and fun. He answered all and any of my questions, assisted with taking pictures, and ensuring my safety. Drivers are pleasant, courteous as well. I highly recommend doing private tours with this company.

My friend and I did private tours with this company - 2 days in a Cairo and 2 days in Luxor. We had two different guides (Ali in Cairo & Ahmed in Luxor). Both were amazing and full of knowledge! We got to see everything we wanted, eat amazing local food, and had transportation everywhere. At the beginning of the trip, we had to switch some things around due to a late arrival for one of us, and they really reworked it for us and made everything still fit! We couldn’t have felt more welcome! I recommend this company if you want a stress free, safe, and informative trip to Cairo or Luxor. The guides are trained a certified too, so it’s very professional. Thanks for a great trip! :)
