Visite du parc national de Cahuita & du chocolat Bribri & de la cascade.
Description
Il s'agit d'un circuit unique qui vous donne l'opportunité de profiter de la forêt tropicale humide comme jamais auparavant. Une fois arrivés au parc national de Cahuita, notre guide se chargera de vous montrer toutes les beautés du parc. Nous marcherons environ 2 heures à la recherche d'animaux sauvages. Une fois ce temps passé, nous nous sommes dirigés vers la communauté Bribri pour partager l'expérience de la fabrication du chocolat de manière traditionnelle. Nous arriverons chez une famille locale, où nous partagerons pendant environ 2 heures l'histoire, le mode de vie, la langue et nous aurons également l'occasion de fabriquer du chocolat 100% biologique de manière traditionnelle. Pour terminer, nous dégusterons un délicieux déjeuner traditionnel préparé avec des ingrédients locaux. Ensuite, nous nous dirigerons vers la cascade où nous marcherons pendant environ 10 minutes jusqu'à atteindre la cascade où vous pourrez profiter d'une baignade rafraîchissante et pour finir nous prendrons une délicieuse collation tropicale.

Itinéraire
Nous commencerons par une courte promenade sur un court sentier d'environ 10 minutes. Une fois arrivés à la cascade, nous aurons l'occasion de profiter du paysage impressionnant ou de profiter d'une baignade rafraîchissante dans la cascade. Pour terminer notre séjour à la cascade, nous dégusterons une délicieuse collation tropicale à base de fruits et d'eau de coco ou cocoloco.
Une fois entrés dans le parc national de Cahuita, notre guide naturaliste partagera des informations sur la création du parc ainsi que sur l'histoire de ce parc. Ensuite, nous commencerons notre recherche de tous les types d’animaux sauvages. Notre guide naturaliste a une vision parfaite pour trouver tous les types de créatures qui vivent dans le parc. Au cours de cette visite d'environ 2 heures, nous aurons l'occasion de rencontrer différentes espèces de mammifères tels que : singes, paresseux, ratons laveurs, etc. Également d'autres vertébrés tels que des serpents, des iguanes, des tortues de rivière et bien plus encore. Nous pouvons également profiter de la riche brise marine et de la magnifique plage du parc national.
Une fois arrivés au territoire indigène Bribris de Talamanca. Notre guide qui est également un autochtone Bribri descendant du clan Duriwak vous racontera l'histoire de ce groupe indigène, vous aurez également l'occasion d'en apprendre davantage sur la culture, sur la langue et aussi sur le mode de vie des autochtones Bribri. personnes. Dans le cadre de cette activité, nous découvrirons l'utilisation de certaines plantes médicinales utilisées dans les remèdes maison indigènes. Pour continuer notre journée, nous aurons l'occasion d'apprendre à faire du chocolat de manière traditionnelle, vous aurez l'occasion de faire du chocolat de vos propres mains. Une fois le processus de chocolat terminé, nous dégusterons un délicieux déjeuner préparé avec des ingrédients locaux.

Excellent tour to visit Cahuita Park and observe flora and fauna, learn about the life and customs of the Bri Bri community, collaborate in the traditional preparation of chocolate, and finish with a nice hike to the waterfall.

Ariel is a very professional guide and attentive to our children. He showed kindness, gave us extremely relevant and interesting explanations not only about the animals but also about the customs and traditions of the country. We recommend this experience!! The people from the Bribri tribe that we met were very kind. We felt well welcomed and were able to discover a small part of Costa Rica. Delicious meal.
This was the best tour of our trip! It was well worth the cost for the three different activities. I will echo what everyone else has said- Ariel was absolutely amazing. From the time we entered Cahuita, he was showing and teaching us about the wildlife there. At one point, we saw a woodpecker, a sloth, a pit viper, and little hermit crabs all in the same area. After the park, we went to the BriBri reserve and learned about their traditions. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and made chocolate, starting with the cocoa pod and ending with a cup of hot cocoa. Then we hiked to a waterfall that we had all to ourselves. We ended with a Coco Loco drink and a song. So fun! Ariel picked us up at our AirBnB and took on an unforgettable journey! We were very grateful for the experience and impressed with him from beginning to end.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience at the Cahuita National Park and local community. Ariel, who is native to the area and owner of the company, was a phenomenal guide. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and he went above and beyond to ensure we saw as much as possible in the park. With his telescope, we got some amazing views and pictures. Even better was our time with the indigenous BriBri community. We loved learning about their history, way of life, preservation of their culture and even participated in making different chocolate products. Ariel made every bit of the experience unforgettable.
Ariel saw so many hidden creatures that we would have strolled by. Cahuita is truly a magical place. His knowledge of the area and animals and culture was very helpful as we asked lots of questions. Top notch experience!
Ariel is a great guide, he helped us spotting a lot of animals in Cahuita and also take amazing pictures with his equipment. The tour in the Bribri indigenous territory was also very interesting, informative but also very hands-on and fun.

Ariel was amazing my he picked us up in his car early in the morning, and we made our way to Cahuita NP to spot wildlife. He spoke good English and was able to communicate tons of facts. He’s been doing tours for 15+ years. We then drove to BriBri for chocolate making and waterfalls. Both were great and amazingly authentic. Price was super fair for the whole experience and would highly recommend. The tour is a private tour so we were the only ones with him the whole day!
Saw a bunch of animals in Cahuita National Park that I would have never seen had it not been for Ariel's keen eyes. The chocolate tour was very interesting - I learned about BriBri culture and plants they use (and the hot chocolate at the end absolutely delicious)! The waterfall and provided coconut to drink from afterwards was refeshing. I also learned a lot about how Puerto Viejo had changed over the years. Ariel was very friendly and knowledgable about everything. I was the only person on the tour, so I appreciate that he still ran it!
