The tour with Adam was great! Our group was 3 couples that had never met before, but all had a great time getting to know each other and the city. We started with a nice walk down the city streets with some really great amount of explanation of both the shops/etc as well as how to act/how things work. We continued on to a really lovely sushi place where we learned the etiquette of eating, as well as some advice on ordering sushi! The group opted to skip the bathhouse (1 couple had no interest, 1 had scheduled a different one later in the week, and my wife couldnt as she is pregnant), though the one Adam took us to was really great looking, and I'm sure would be a great time. We did a bit more touring of town with some additional informative explaining of things, then went to a Kimono rental place that had us try on and photograph ourselves all dressed up! We wore the kimonos out of the store and walked to a place specializing in Matcha tea, where we learned how it is made, then did a matcha tea ceremony for ourselves. We then changed out of our Kimonos and continued on to a Yakiniku grill, where we had some fantastic Wagu beef on the grill. Overall it was a lovely day out, and despite some rain, the whole group had a great time. I can't recommend this tour or Adam enough!
