We came to Busan for one day on a cruise and knew we didn’t want to spend our limited time trying to figure out the city on our own. We decided to book a private tour after seeing it recommended by a previous cruiser on YouTube—and somehow, we ended up with the exact same guide they had featured in their video: Sang! We could not have asked for a better guide. Sang was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and clearly knew Busan inside and out. He took the time to get to know us and what we wanted to see, then adapted the itinerary around our interests. Since we only had one day, that made a huge difference. We saw all the different sides of Busan we were hoping to experience without ever feeling rushed. He also gave us a fantastic history lesson along the way. As we passed different places, he explained Korea’s history, how it shaped Busan, and how it connects to local traditions and life today. He somehow managed to answer every random question we threw at him! And then there was lunch. Sang introduced us to several Korean dishes that were unique to the area, and we introduced him to Dr Pepper because we’re from Texas. 😂 We were actually thrilled when he decided to join us for lunch instead of leaving us on our own. It turned into one of the most adventurous dining experiences we’ve ever had—and definitely one we’ll never forget. His van was clean, spacious, safe, and—most importantly in August—very air-conditioned. He also seemed to have an “in” with the locals, because we rarely had to wait in lines for food or other stops. That saved us a ton of time and let us experience places we probably wouldn’t have found on our own. One of our favorite surprises was an incredible walkway along the beach that I never would have thought to visit. Sang knew all the best spots and made sure we experienced more than just the typical tourist stops. By the end of the day, it honestly felt less like we were being taken on a tour and more like we were spending the day with a friend who happened to know everything about Busan. If you’re visiting Busan—even if you only have one day from a cruise—I highly recommend booking a private tour with Sang. We would absolutely do this again, and if we ever come back to the area, we’d hire him for the whole week! Five stars without hesitation. Sang made our one day in Busan unforgettable.

A great tour with an excellent guide. DK was friendly, knowledgable and always considerate of all our family members needs. Communication before the tour was easy and we were given great advise on how to maximise time / benefit. The itinerary was fully customised to our preferred sights. Choosing this tour allowed us to really get the most out of Busan visit. The company also managed to secure us Sky Capsule tickets which normally sell out in minutes. Everything was absolutely perfect! Our guide, Jino was super nice and incredibly knowledgeable. Loved hearing all the stories and history of our visits. My daughter loved talking about K-drama and Korean culture with him. She has been studying Korean language and excited to speak some. He was very accommodating. Incredible experience and I will highly recommend.

Our guide DK was very friendly with our two littles that we brought along and considerate of their needs (ie, getting shade and food). We got to see 5 different places and he recommended an amazing lunch of naemyeon.

Our tour guide Jino was amazing! He was very patient, and knowledgeable, and took us to the sites we requested and more! We didn’t book the sky capsule tickets in advance, but Jino made sure that we went to the less busy station first thing in the morning, and we got lucky with last minute tickets! He never rushed us at any of the sites, and made excellent recommendations for lunch based on what we were interested in. He was a pleasure to spend the day with!

We were fortunate to have booked a tour with Jade as our guide. Jade arrived exactly on time. He took us all over Busan, wherever we wanted to go, beginning at the Haedonyonggungsa Buddhist temple before the heavy crowds. Then, onto Jalgachi fish market where we devoured the most fabulous meal ever! I am in love with the spicy fish broth, not to mention the amazing grouper with the garlic butter! Absolutely unforgettable meal! Then, Momo’s roastery for a fabulous afternoon coffee/tea and treat with a brief stop at Gamcheon cultural village. Concluding our tour with some afternoon shopping and browsing for the kids at the Shinsagae and Centum City mall. Along our journey, Jade shared a wealth of knowledge and insight about Busan, Korean culture and the city. Upon completion, Jade even recommended the most amazing spot for dinner spot, with mouthwatering chicken! I would highly recommend Jade as your tour guide any day! We we hope to return again and would only ask Jade to assist us in the future! Thank you, Jade
