Description
Nous verrons Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge Park et le quartier des entrepôts DUMBO. Après une visite rapide du quartier de l'hôtel de ville, nous roulons sur le pont de Brooklyn avec des arrêts pour des séances de photos parfaites de la magnifique ligne d'horizon de Wall Street. Pendant mon séjour, je partagerai des informations historiques sur les icônes jumelles de l'East River à New York : les ponts de Manhattan et de Brooklyn. Nous continuerons dans les charmantes rues de grès brun de Brooklyn. Après un arrêt sur la magnifique Promenade, nous traverserons le plus récent, le plus innovant et le plus beau terrain de jeu de 85 acres au bord de l'eau de New York, le Brooklyn Bridge Park (qui vient d'ouvrir en 2010). Il y aura des arrêts et des séances de photos à gogo dans les quartiers d'expédition et d'entrepôt shabby-chic de DUMBO, Vinegar Hill et le Brooklyn Navy Yard. Vous aurez un aperçu de l'histoire de l'industrie maritime de Brooklyn qui prospérait autrefois sur ces quais et ces rues pavées.

Parc historique où le général George Washington a lu la déclaration d'indépendance, entouré par l'hôtel de ville, le bâtiment municipal, le palais de justice de Tweed, le bâtiment Woolworth et d'autres icônes de la ville.
Le chef-d'œuvre de John Augustus Roebling combine l'ingénierie et l'art. Nous roulerons avec beaucoup d'arrêts pour des photos des horizons de Manhattan et de Brooklyn.
Brooklyn Heights est l'endroit où nous trouverons d'élégantes pierres brunes du 19e siècle dans des rues tranquilles bordées d'arbres. Découvrez pourquoi Matt Damon, Paul Giamatti et Emily Blunt et John Krasinski ont élu domicile dans ce quartier.
La Promenade de Brooklyn Heights est sans pareil, le meilleur endroit à New York pour apprécier la ligne d'horizon des tours de Wall Street. Nous nous arrêterons ici.
Le plus récent parc de New York se trouve sous le pont. Inauguré en 2010 et toujours en cours de finition, ce parc de 85 acres est un réaménagement post-industriel de six quais de transport commercial abandonnés.
DUMBO était autrefois une plaque tournante animée du transport maritime et de l'industrie avec de nombreux entrepôts du XIXe siècle. Il renaît aujourd'hui comme un quartier glamour à la fois fastueux et granuleux.
Nous retournerons au pont de Manhattan, nous offrant une vue plongeante sur le nord de Brooklyn, le Queens et l'East River.
Nous retournerons à la boutique via l'East River Park et nous balancerons à travers des parties de Chinatown et de l'historique South Street Seaport.

This is a two hour bike trip with a competent friendly and knowledgeable leader named Scott. Bike and helmet were provided, and Scott adjusted and changed bikes if needed. I am a 70 year old and took this tour with my 2 teenage grandkids and younger brother. I am active but hadn’t been on a bike in decades! Riding the uphill part to cross the Brooklyn Bridge was a bit difficult for me and I walked the bike for a short part of it - but the majority of the ride was flat or downhill. My family had no trouble at all and loved it! Scott was super helpful to me and very kind! We had amazing views of Manhattan, several picture opportunities, and really enjoyed seeing the parks and neighborhoods in Brooklyn. What a great and unique activity! We all loved it. Great for families or couples or solos! If you’re thinking about it- do it!
Had the pleasure of taking Scott’s Brooklyn Waterfront bike tour this past weekend. It was a great experience and Scott was a very knowledgeable guide.
The ride it self was not hard and Scott rode at our pace the history of Brooklyn and the bridge was very informative and Scott was great at it.

We had a wonderful experience on a personal guided tour across the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. Our guide, Scott, was a friendly and engaging person who shared many fascinating stories—not only about the bridge’s origins, but also about the DUMBO area and much more. He took his time to make the tour special, even helping us take photos together along the way, which we really appreciated. It felt relaxed, personal, and very informative. This is truly a great tour, and we would highly recommend it—definitely a five-star experience!
