Excursion d'une journée au Bromo pour le lever du soleil via Tumpang - Au départ de Malang
Description
Le volcan actif Bromo se trouve dans un paysage lunaire de proportions mythiques et au charme glorieux. Le volcan et ses environs offrent des vues superbes. Il se dresse sur la mer de sable volcanique de couleur gris-grisâtre, entourée par les imposantes falaises du bord du cratère. Cela forme un paysage lunaire. Tandis que la savane - de couleur vert bouteille pendant la saison des pluies et dorée au cœur de la saison sèche - borde Bromo au sud. Le mont Bromo - haut de 2 392 m - est l'un des trois volcans situés dans une ancienne caldeira, qui s'étend sur 10 km. Seul le cône du mont Bromo est actif. Le mont Semeru est le plus haut sommet de Java - 3 676 m - et apparaît derrière le mont Bromo lorsque vous vous trouvez au point de vue de Penanjakan au nord du mont Bromo. Semeru est également un volcan actif qui projette ses cendres toutes les 20 minutes. Lorsque le cratère de Bromo fume aussi, les vues sont tout simplement sublimes.

Itinéraire
Une jeep vous prendra en charge à votre hébergement à Malang entre 00:00 et 00:30. En 2 à 3 heures vous arriverez au mont Penanjakan. Comme il fait entre 0 et 10 °C un en-cas chaud local avec un café ou un thé chaud vous attend. Lorsque le soleil est sur le point de se lever, vous pouvez choisir votre place. De votre boisson en début de matinée jusqu'au point de vue il n’y a que 100 m à parcourir à pied. Les conditions météorologiques et l'activité du volcan détermineront les vues de votre matinée, mais les vues sur ce paysage lunaire sont toujours spectaculaires quand le soleil se lève.
Après le lever du soleil - vers 6:00 - la mer de sable noir volcanique ensuite. Cette mer de sable entoure partiellement le mont Bromo et est de couleur gris-noir. De nombreuses petites rivières traversent cette mer de sable. Vous pourrez prendre votre petit déjeuner quelque part dans cette mer et admirer votre magnifique environnement, avant de continuer vers le parking proche du temple Poten Luhur.
Le temple Luhur Poten est un temple hindou situé dans la mer de sable qui entoure le mont Bromo. Ce temple est toujours en activité. Lorsque des cérémonies ont lieu, vous êtes libre de regarder. Dans le cas contraire le temple est fermé, mais c'est certainement un site superbe dans la mer de sable. La jeep se garera près de ce temple, pour commencer votre randonnée jusqu'au bord du cratère du volcan actif Bromo.
Marchez ensuite pendant 45 minutes jusqu'au sommet du mont Bromo. Si vous n'avez pas envie de marcher, vous pouvez louer un cheval. N'oubliez pas d’arrêter de marcher de temps à autre. Regardez par-dessus vos épaules car les vues changent tout le temps. Le mont Bromo est un volcan actif dans une ancienne caldeira d’une largeur de 10 km. La mer de sable grisâtre et la savane - couleur vert bouteille pendant la saison des pluies - entourent Bromo.
Une fois de retour à la voiture, vous continuez jusqu'à la savane juste derrière le mont Bromo, également appelée la Tengger Caldera. D’après l'histoire, la savane était autrefois un grand lac de cratère. Elle a séché et formé un grand nombre de différentes textures de roche et de sable. La savane est aujourd'hui une vaste plaine avec des buissons et quelques collines, parmi lesquelles on peut trouver les collines Teletubbies. En fonction de la saison, la savane est un champ très vert ou doré.
Sur votre trajet de retour à Malang, vous pourrez visiter la cascade de Pelangi. Après la savane le trajet est court pour atteindre le parking de la cascade. Ensuite, marchez pendant 30 minutes en pente. Pelangi signifie arc-en-ciel. Quand le soleil brille vous pouvez voir un arc-en-ciel au-dessus de la cascade.
Le temple Jago est petit et a été construit entre 1275 et 1300. Ce serait le lieu de sépulture du roi Wisnuwardhana, la quatrième roi du royaume Singosari. Il faut environ 30 minutes de la cascade de Pelangi au temple Jago. Votre heure de retour à Malang dépend du temps que vous passez aux différents sites pendant votre trajet de retour à Malang. Nous n'avons pas d’emploi du temps, à vous de choisir combien de temps vous passez sur les sites. En moyenne les voyageurs sont de retour à Malang vers 12:00.

I booked my Mount Bromo trip through Shelter Hostel Malang, not only was it easy and convenient to book with them but the staff is incredibly helpful and always smiling. I was also able to book my train ticket through the hostel which was a plus! The hostel itself is also very nice with great food and comfortable beds. Highly recommended.

This tour was spectacular, I did it twice as the first one touched us one cloudy day and we could not see anything and the second, two days later, was wonderful and worth all. What beautiful views you have from the viewpoint and then walk through the crater of the Brome listening to its roars, unforgettable. Just look at the weather forecast to make sure it’s not all covered and if you can avoid a better weekend as that’s when more people visit these places. Also from Malang take another excursion to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, very beautiful and the funny thing is that you go down a waterfall to reach the Ace Waterfall. And from Banyuwangi, take the tour to Kawa Ijen to see the blue lava, the climb to this place was challenging but paid for everything with the views and experience up there. Excellent company was a success to go with Smartine Indonesia Travel, all excursions included, roundtrip transportation, water and breakfast.

We had A very good time visiting Madakaripura waterfall and Bromo. Due to private circumstances unfortunately no IJen. Our guide and taxi driver Dodo was polite, helpfull and A very good guide. Drop at harbor for Bali was welk planned.
Had a great time! We had the Malang- Bromo tour, with Bali drop-off. Everything went well and just like the time schedule. They choosed what was the best for us to do and they did great! Thanks to Adit our tour guide, he was the best!! He made our time 100 times better :) And ofcourse Johan our driver, he did great to bring us safe everywhere. They where the nicest people! Really recommend this tour if you want to go to Bali from Malang in one day and have a daytrip to Bromo also! (Good breakfast included by the way ;))
This requires some condition. The tour consists of 2 parts. Sunrise on a hilltop and a visit to the crater bromo. You have to get out of bed early before sunrise. The view is nice but not so spectacular to get up early. Front best style walk after the 4 wheel drive. Visit to the Bromo crater requires condition because of the style long staircase but also the climb to the stairs. You can rent a horse for 200,000 rupiah. View of the crater is impressive as are the sulfur fumes

But mostly people choose the sunrise so they can do the sharing trip and get the cheaper price like you did. Depart early for teh sunrise is necessary because the view point is crowded. If you depart later, it's gonna be traffic in the view point and you will be late for the sunrise. You also need to have your spot to wait for the sunrise and it will be difficult to find a good spot when everything is already full. Awesome day getting picked up at 12:30am and going until 12pm. The sunrise was an amazing start to the day and getting up close to the crater is a must do not to mention all the stops in between. Looks like another world at the top! Thanks from Australia 🇦🇺
