Mel , the first person you meet and your awesome bus driver. Lovely woman that generally loves her job and loves talking to all people . The group I went with was with some Aussie’s and Americans , truly great and funny people I was honoured to meet . Great experiences together going to the glow worm caves , sky walk and Curtis falls in mountain Tamborine in the Gold Coast . Would recommend the experience to everyone to go on a adventure , meet some great people from different walks of life and be apart of a safe and fun environment provided by pineapple tours
Minh was a great driver and extremely friendly tour guide. Highly recommend.
Cool experience. The glow worm cave was one of the most unique things I’ve done in Australia. The only downside to it was that the experience was short and due to the nature of the environment, we couldn’t take pictures. However, afterwards we went and did the catwalk walk in a nearby forest, spent some time getting lunch in a local town, and even got to view a waterfall. Overall, it was great.
Please book this tour by seeing the weather forecast I couldn't see anything except the glow worms . The rainforest was muddy with lots of puddles very unsafe for tourists
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the conditions affected your enjoyment of the tour and that parts of the rainforest walk felt unsafe. As this experience does offer the option to visit a natural rainforest environment, wet tracks, mud and puddles can occur, especially after rain. That said, guest safety is extremely important to us, and we appreciate you raising this concern. We will review how we communicate track conditions, footwear recommendations and weather-related expectations before departure so guests can make an informed decision. We’re pleased you were still able to experience the glow worms, but we’re sorry the broader Scenic Rim experience did not meet your expectations on the day. Thank you again for sharing your comments, it helps us continue improving the tour experience.
The glow worm cave was just ok - not that many glow worms inside a very small compact cave for 30 minutes. I’m glad I saw them but been there done that. The quick photo stops @ the botanical garden for the fountains and plants were great and the hang glide area had amazing views of the mountain ranges. Good call by Mel our driver to head over there before the rainfall and before heading to Tamborine mountain. Definitely check out the Skywalk and be among the canopy of the tall trees and creeks below. Even though I was drenched from walking to Curtis falls due to the rain, it was refreshing to smell the wetness of nature around. After a nice lunch break, Terry our driver at Tambourine mountain took us to St. Bernard Hotel to see the cute St. Bernard dogs and another majestic view of the Gold Coast. Driving back to Brisbane, Mel took a detour to some country roads to watch several kangaroos lurking around the grassy areas. The “Roos” usually come out of the woods during the rain per Mel. It was a long day but well worth the time and value for your money.
Glow worms were a little underwhelming but cool nonetheless. Bus from Brisbane was shared with the Wine tour so felt much like a party bus on the way back. Hop on hop off is good because you can see multiple things and guide tells you what time she will be back and was very prompt.
This tour is excellently organised and a really good tour, you can choose what you want to see in your preferred order and they simply drop you off then pick you up then on to the next venue. I’d highly recommend this tour, it’s a great day out
This trip was an easy way to see some of the highlights of Tambourine Mountain. The structure of it was more like a standard group tour rather than a hop on hop off bus. I appreciated that we had quite a bit of flexibility — some activities you had to join the group, but you could also request to be dropped off somewhere different. Overall, it was a good set mix of things to do, and with a leisurely pace, though I found the glow worm experience underwhelming.
Very good. Interesting & enjoyable . Great food. Terry, our host/driver was fabulous. Can’t wait to go on another tour
It was a very enjoyable trip. We did 4 main activities in Tamborine Mountain: Glow worm cave, Curtis Falls, Skywalk and lunch/walk at Gallery. It was a beautiful day, we drove through scenic ways and had plenty of photo opportunities. Our driver and guide Michelle was an absolute delight. She was very knowledgeable and allowed adequate time for all the activities. Highly recommend this trip.
