Ensuite, nous faisons l'expérience du gin ou de la vodka artisanale chez Waiheke Distilling Co, tout en profitant de l'une des vues les plus imprenables sur Waiheke. Savourez les vins primés à la cave Awaroa ou au domaine Te Motu, entourés de vignes et de vues imprenables. Profitez d'un délicieux déjeuner au restaurant renommé Three Seven Two, proposant des plats frais et locaux et des boissons gratuites. Jasper Ridge Estate. Real avis nomme son rosé 2024 le rosé n°1 en Nouvelle-Zélande ! Parmi leurs superbes vignes, vous serez guidés avec expertise à travers leur gamme et styles de vins de classe mondiale, et peut-être même quelques vins d'invités curés si disponibles!
Un court trajet en voiture nous mènera à la magnifique plage de Onetangi, l'emplacement de notre déjeuner organisé - le superbe restaurant Three Seven Two. Nous avons longuement réfléchi à partager notre ‘local’ avec vous, mais bon, comment ne pas le faire ?!! Nourriture multi-prix avec une vue vraiment glorieuse sur la plage! Nous savourerons des pains et de l’huile d’olive partagés, puis un plat principal de votre choix accompagné de vin, bière, cidre ou boisson gazeuse offerts dans leur vaste menu. Oh et si disponible le jour même, pourquoi ne pas ajouter quelques huîtres Te Matuku mondialement connues ?! Après le déjeuner, nous pouvons profiter d'une promenade sur le sable doré de la plage d'Onetangi, prendre quelques photos et profiter de l'air merveilleux de la mer du Pacifique Sud!
Waiheke Distilling Co. qui offre une vue panoramique parmi les plus imprenables de l'île. - Kia Ora ! L'île Waiheke est une petite île du golfe Hauraki et, à ce titre, doit être accessible par ferry depuis le centre-ville d'Auckland. Il existe deux principales compagnies de ferry qui desservent l'île : ISLAND DIRECT Island Direct est le choix des habitants et celui que nous vous conseillons d'utiliser pour réserver votre voyage de retour en ferry. Nous vous conseillons de réserver rapidement votre ferry maintenant que vous avez confirmé votre tour WOW avec nous. En utilisant la même date que votre réservation WOW Tour - s'il vous plaît réserver le 9: 15am Auckland à Waiheke et le 16: 15pm aller-retour. Vous pouvez réserver Island Direct en ligne. Nous vous recommandons vivement de réserver vos billets de ferry tôt et avec Island Direct. De cette façon, vous avez la garantie d'un siège et n'avez besoin d'arriver à Island Direct's Pier 13 jusqu'à 10 minutes avant l'heure de départ du ferry. Island Direct possède également un distributeur de billets à côté du quai 13.

Had a fantastic time exploring the lesser explored east side of the island. Our host Joe was so knowledgeable and helpful, and was also so kind throughout the entire tour. All the places we visited had delicious drinks, great stories behind their wines and spirits, and we left each place with a purchase because we just could not help ourselves. Would highly recommend this experience, and we feel so lucky we picked this tour.

Wonderful personalised day with Joe. We were the only two people on the tour. The island was unexpectedly quiet after Easter weekend. Joe picked us up from our accommodation. We saw a part of the island we would not have accessed without a car and visited a couple of small wineries. The olive oil place was fun and the gin tasting was in a spectacular setting. Waiheke is already gorgeous, but Joe showed us hidden spots we’d never have found ourselves. From quiet beaches to little vineyards, the stories and history made it so much more than a normal tour. Really gave us a proper taste of the region and the real ‘wow’ moments

This tour was the highlight of our trip to New Zealand. The wineries, olive oil farm, and the gin/vodka establishment were superb. The view from the gin/vodka tasting was amazing. A small (in our case 4 people) tour showed us off the beaten path to places that Joe particularly enjoyed. Joe was kind enough to limit the tour to 4 people, as our friends son expressed his love of New Zealand and wanted to move there, but unfortunately has passed away, Therefore, this trip to New Zealand was a tribute to their son.

This was a magical experience. Everything was 5 stars from our host, Joe, to the vineyards and transportation. The forecast predicted some wind and rain, so we dressed accordingly. Although not a typical summer day, it was still perfect. Joe was a fantastic historian and most gracious host. Was nice to start with bread and olive oil before moving on to gin, vodka & wine. I never knew I liked gin & tonic, until I had it at Waiheke Diistilling Co. The only thing better than the gin, vodka, and food there was the breathtaking view. Jasper Ridge was our third spot. Our host there was generous and pleasant. The wine was some of the best we’ve ever had and it was nice to try the same wine from different seasons (rainy vs. dry). At lunch they had a table facing the ocean for us. I had the best onion rings of my entire life. Skip the crowded mega bus tours and treat yourself to this more intimate experience. You will NOT regret it. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again next time we are in the area. Perfection!

If you want to get a taste of local Waiheke olive oil AND wine AND gin this is the tour you need to take! I found Joe to be an amazing guide - he's friendly and professional, and most importantly he has local knowledge of Waiheke Island as someone who lives there himself. The tour he provides gets you away from the crowds, and as well as the amazing variety of tastings he organises, you get to see some breathtaking views, and enjoy some great cuisine in a beautiful location.
